Best yarn that I have worked with in the last 48 years of crafting!
This is the most awesome yarn that I have worked with to date! It is soft and vibrant. I'm currently working with Katy Volcano and I will be back to post a picture when done with my dress...it actually looks like lava flowing down my body...I am so excited about it! I can only complain about the limited quantities that we are restricted to as Amazon has placed a 4 hank limit and with most patterns this is enough but some I wanted to make could not be done with only 4 hanks! With the Katy it comes with almost 500 yards so that is plenty for a beautiful dress crocheting with trebles and open lacy stitches but with the Mystic (every bit as soft and beautiful) there is only 165 yards per hank...very limiting in what you can make with it! Regular price is way too much for me to be comfortable paying so you have to check each colorway individually because the prices change on it seems a different set each day! Take heart...that $40 color that YOU absolutely love but can't afford might just be under $10 tomorrow so don't give up! I absolutely love the Fiesta Yarns and have several 4 hank sets of each blend and weight and cannot say that I am disappointed with ANY of them!I will be happy crocheting for many months to come with just what I currently own and will try to post for each finished project across the broad spectrum of color, fiber and weight that is Fiesta Yarns!

As a professional designer, my opinion of this yarn ...
As a professional designer, my opinion of this yarn would be 5 stars if not for the price. It wholesales for $18.99 per skein from Fiesta direct and is a silk/alpaca blend. Very often, overdyed yarns will shed some dye while working the piece but it is colourfast and durable. The texture is sublime as with all Fiesta's yarns, and I expect, with proper care for a luxury item, anything made with it will last many years. I have a piece on needles now called "Jupiter's Storms", inspired by the planet's atmosphere, in Katy "camoman", "poinsettia" and "peacock" as background with Knitpicks' Chroma fingering "red velvet" and "let's your your neon" as the graphic, and it is spectacular, bright, stylish and vivid. I usually buy as inexpensively as I can without sacrificing quality, but in the case of Fiesta's yarns, I'm willing to pay. See other designs at KnittingArt.net

Great for weaving
Great for weaving. It's soft and flowy and it's wonderful. Disappointed that the price has gone up so much. Got my first skeins for much cheaper.

Nicest, softest, loveliest...ever.
I read another review, and I couldn't disagree more strongly! This yarn is fantastic! I've never had real wool (merino in this case) bleed, ever, ever. Cotton, sure. But not wool. This is wool! With tencel or silk or nylon in some types. The fibers in this are some of the nicest and best I've ever used, and I've been knitting for 44 years. Love this so much. Thanks!

Not like the picture at all!!! Red is pink, green is hardly there - dye leaks
The colors are not the same, the red is pink. It is really soft, but disappointed with the unlikeness of the picture.I downgraded from a 2 to 1 because the dye leaks so after crocheting for about an hour my finger are blue. I will have wash the blanket once I am done several times. The yarn color also bleeds on my finger when I crochets leaving fingers a mix of blue and green. It is really soft but I am disappointed given the high price I paid ($35)
