🎶 If I were a rich man... 🎶
I miss Soylent, but a sudden surge of expenses knocked it out of my budget.ADHD can make it unexpectedly difficult to take care of oneself properly (iykyk), and having Soylent delivered cleared quite a few of the food- and meal-related chores from my to-do list, thereby freeing up some of my executive function for other necessary activities—all while ensuring that I kept myself properly nourished. They also have less sugar and a better balance of nutrients than a lot of the meal replacement drinks out there. Obviously, they can't make up the totality of your diet, but they're great for one to two meals a day, and very well-suited to workday lunches on the go, and mornings when one can't findtime for breakfast. The flavors are actually enjoyable, and it was great to have the variety, but I miss the banana flavor the most!Unfortunately, the expense became unsustainable, whether delivered or store-bought. Honestly, if not for the cost, this would be a 5-star review! One slightly gross caveat: I found that sipping it slowly over the course of my lunch break, while doing other things, reduced the moderate amount of flatulence it would otherwise produce! 🤣

Flavor is good and it works well as an occasional meal replacement
I work from home and often don't have time to get a healthy breakfast or lunch, so this seems like a better option for those days than falling back on eating cereal, pop tarts, or something else laden with carbs and sugar. I keep it at my desk and sip it occasionally rather than guzzling it, so in that sense the experience is a lot like having a coffee or glass of water at my desk. The chocolate flavor tastes like chocolate milk and vanilla tastes like a vanilla shake. Both are good with no aftertaste. The strawberry is a little bland. I'll try the other flavors next.

Solid Meal Replacement
I bought these to help me get more daily calories and to make sure I'm getting something actually healthy every day and I think these accomplish both of those goals well. From a cursory read of the ingredients and nutrition table on the bottle, they do seem to be pretty healthy with low sugar and a good amount of protein and by drinking one or two a day I can easily get more calories.Flavors are a mixed bag but that's why you buy this one first. To me, they all have a mildly strange aftertaste and heavy texture but the flavors do a lot to make them palatable. Banana is very good, mint chocolate is alright, and vanilla and strawberry are bad. Ofcourse, your tongue is different but I would expect to find a couple flavors you dislike in this pack.Unsure on how I feel about the price but I'm leaning on it being too high. If nothing else, the ingredients in these things aren't that complex and the bottle is still plastic. In terms of 'meal replacement' I'm not sure these will work for you just because they don't contain all that many calories, 400 a bottle. Drinking 3 would put you at 1200 for one day and not only is your current meal habit putting you over that, it should put you over that unless you are very very small.Solid buy, if you can afford a new pack every week/couple weeks.

Delicious
Great snack

Do not drink this if you have GERD.
Tastes good, made me feel full, the product itself is fine. However, if you have GERD, this is not for you. The liquid will flush through your stomach too quickly, resulting in unfortunate digestions issues on both ends, if you know what I mean.

Too sweet.
***OLD REVIEW:I have an unhealthy relationship with food. When I feel stressed (most of the time), I lose my appetite. Sometimes I'll go an entire day and fail to realize that I didn't eat that day until night. Soylent how allowed me to introduce nutrients and calories into my diet so that I'm not accidentally stress-starving myself.I’m fond of the consistency and texture, which is extremely smooth and non-chalky. The taste is a bit too sweet for my liking but it isn’t sweeter than other comparable products on the market or regular protein powder. These drinks are different in that they taste more like something that you would leisurely consume for dessert, not a meal replacement drink or protein shake you force yourself to drink. However, be aware of the ingredients. This contains Maltodextrin and sucralose. If you do your research, you'll see that there are many side effects including digestive issues, change in digestive enzymes, eventual gluten intolerance, increased risk for people w diabetes etc etc etc. I mention this because I am a healthy 24 year old with no preexisting conditions, but Soylent has STILL given me a lot of stomach issues/pain (only banana and vanilla). Yes, the products have not expired and are in good condition. Apparently there was a formula change a few years back—Many people did not like this change to Maltodextrin and sucralose.I have tried six flavors so far and I would rate them in the following order from best to worst:1. Strawberry & Mint Chocolate - I’m normally not a huge fan of strawberry things but this is great. The strawberry is light, subtle, and refreshing; it's not overpowering like many strawberry flavored things usually are. I’ve seen some people complain that the flavor is too faint, I enjoy that it’s light. My partner describes the taste as “the cereal milk left behind after eating Trix cereal,” which he loves. The strawberry is a less vanilla-y version of the vanilla, if that makes sense. As for mint chocolate, I normally love mint flavored things. Mint chocolate is wonderful, it tastes like mint chip ice cream; rich and smooth, but not in an overpowering way. The balance between mint and chocolate is perfect; Gordon Ramsey would be pleased! Much better than creamy chocolate in my opinion. Mint choc is a less chocolate-y version of the creamy choc.2. Vanilla - tastes like sweet vanilla soymilk; light and refreshing; classic and timeless taste. This (and I assume the Original flavor as well) would be excellent to use with cereal or oatmeal. Unfortunately, this along with banana give me stomach pain.3. Creamy Chocolate - tastes straight up like chocolate milk. This was the first Soylent flavor I tried and I was hooked with the first sip. It's rich, smooth, and very chocolatey. I'm just not really a huge fan of super-chocolatey things in general, hence this is third. This is subjective. Choc could easily be top two if I were a chocolate fanatic.4. Cafe Mocha - also subjective, I’m not a fan of coffee flavored things. I switched to tea years ago so this was overpowering for me. I think this would taste great for regular coffee drinkers. If I still drank coffee then I would definitely like this.5. Banana - I'm not sure how but this is the absolute worst flavor. And I normally love banana bread and other banana flavored things. The first sip made me feel nauseous and a lot of things all at once; it almost tastes festive and like the winter holidays, in an overpowering, artificial, and terrible way. Banana is subtle at first; it tastes like cinnamon and banana cream. This flavor is the sweetest one and I can't stand it. This also gives me the most stomach issues along with vanilla. Banana is going straight in the trash, never to be purchased again.****UPDATE**** While I stopped drinking Soylent a few months after initial use, it still isn’t a bad option for people trying to introduce more calories into their diet. I ultimately stopped due to all of the flavors being too sweet for my liking. If the sweetness were cut in half, I’d go back in an instant. I highly recommend the coconut water banana protein shakes from TJ’s if you dislike things that are too sweet.
