Great fun and tongue in cheek humour. If you loved Karate Kid from your childhood, this is an awesome nostalgia trip and update at the same time

Cobra Kai just keeps getting better, even with the ridiculous twists and teen drama. It's effectively a soap opera, it's not high drama, but the two leads are excellent. Personally, I prefer the shift in focus from the character of Johnny to Daniel and Miyagi-do, and I really was surprised at how good the re-introduction of Terry Silver was. I'm not so keen on the teens but Daniel is compelling, the LaRussos as a family are hugely entertaining, and Robbie and Tori's stories are really good. The karate looks great to me too, although I am 47 years old and have never attempted a crane kick. I could watch Daniel, Amanda, Lucille, and of course these Mr Miyagi call-backs on a loop and I have to give kudos to the young stars for their karate skills. Well worth it.
