Do your research before taking these!
This vitamin contains Folic Acid which is the synthetic version of Folate. Folic acid is now known to be toxic to an estimated 50% of the population with the MTHFR gene mutation and are advised to consume the natural version of Folate. I strongly urge you to do your research and choose a prenatal with FOLATE not Folic Acid.

Not living up to my (too high?) expectations
I haven't really seen any noticeable change in my hair or nails after completing a bottle. After all of the review comments about improved hair and nails, I thought I'd try it because my hair is thin and my nails very weak and brittle. No luck so far. I'm about to dive into bottle number two to give them as much of the benefit of the doubt as possible, but I'm not holding my breath. Just trying not to break my nails.

Contains cancer causing agents
The company does include a picture of the ingredients. Assuming that people would not put anything harmful in prenatal vitamins I went ahead purchased these. I was very surprised to learn these pills are dyed with Red#40, Blue#2 and Yellow#6. These synthetic food dyes are banned in developed countries outside of the United States because of concerns about the health risks they cause yet the FDA still allows them to be used in the US. These dyes are also believed to cause ADHD in children. Why would any pregnant woman want ingest these?????

Prenatal Vitamin with 800 mg Folic Acid!
Before I actually review this product I must address what appears to be misinformation in some of the other reviews I have read.I do not understand how anyone could say this product does not have 800 mg of Folic Acid, as that is what is listed on the label's ingredients listing and there is no way the FDA would have approved this product unless the stated amount was accurate.Unless they received a different item than I did, it makes me wonder why anyone would write a review that states they have less than 800 mgs. listed in the ad and on the label. That being said, I accepted the opportunity to receive this product in return for my unbiased and honest review, not due to pregnancy, but because I am a very poor eater and my physician has suggested that I would get a greater benefit from a prenatal vitamin than I would from taking regular vitamins.I have a sensitive stomach and am happy to report that I have Not had any digestive issues with Happy Healthy Smart's Prenatal Vitamins.I have been taking these Prenatal Vitamins for about a week now and can already feel the benefits of replacing the minerals, nutrients and vitamins my body is lacking due to my bad eating habits.I am not found of swallowing pills, but these capsules go down easily and with the high amount of minerals, vitamins and nutrients they contain, I only have to take one pill a day to reap the benefits.Yes I need to learn to eat better, but it is nice to know that until I change my eating habits, I am able to rely on Happy Healthy Smart TM's Prenatal Vitamins to keep me healthy.Fast shipping and excellent order follow up contributed to my 5 star rating. If you are expecting or just a poor eater like myself, I highly recommend these Prenatal Vitamins One A Day Multivitamins and the company who is offering them.

Just ok.
While it has the vitamins one would need while pregnant, a few of them aren't the best quality. For example, the vitamin b12 is cyanocobalamin which means it is created using cyanide. Not something you want in your body... a more appropriate b12 would be methylcobalamin. The other would be calcium. One would want a calcium supplement to be bicarbonate as the others aren't recognized properly in the body and can cause intestinal distress among other health issues. Due to the wrong types or derivatives used, it gets 3 stars.

Great prenatal vitamin, great price. No iron is just what we needed.
These are the best prenatals we've found. Took them through two different pregnancies. The price is right and all of the good stuff is there. What was especially nice for my wife, and why we chose this brand, is that there is NO IRON. For her that's a big deal because it messes with her gut. She has to take a slow-release iron pill to supplement, but most other prenatals were harder on her stomach because of the iron.

Whoever said these don't taste like vitamins is out of their mind
Whoever said these don't taste like vitamins is out of their mind. I couldn't take them in my first trimester because they were so disgusting. By the time my stomach probably could have handled it I had gotten something different.

Good vitamin
I need a vitamin that has no iron and these are perfect. I did not experience any side effects including constipation. They are easy to swallow too.
