AltSkin 2Face Solid Spandex Mask - 2 Sizes, 15+ Colors/Patterns

The mask is great! Easy to breathe in and I can see out of it easy enough to breath through. Unfortunately the fabric is very thin and if you have darker hair or skin completion it will show through the mask. I'd recommend buying a plastic halloween mask to wear under it to give it better shape and hide your skin :P

Before we begin, my head size is 22 1/2" inches circumfrence with a 14 1/2" neck. The fit is nice up top, snug, but not restricting. Neck is maybe an inch to two inches loose but that's probably to make it easier to put the mask on. Purchased this item recently after owning a morphmask that I bought back in 2012 for a Slenderman costume. The morphmask has a zipper second skin does not, which allows for morph to sew a tighter neck area on the morphmask. The morphmask however suffers two issues when camparing these two items. First off, is the obvious logo placed on the back of the neck of the morphmask which peeks out over top of the collar on my dress shirt which ruins the look of my costume. Second, is how tight the mask is, after putting the mask on, the side stiches that run along the length of the mask constrict tightly resulting in a bumpy finish and a silly looking head shape(had to throw a hat on top to hide the bumps). SecondSkin did a great job with this mask but would do well to improve it with a zipper system and tighter neck area. Going to attempt to sew a nylon stitch of somesort into the neck area to tighten up the look.

Personally, I prefer this mask over the Morphsuit mask. There are some slight differences between the two products. This SecondSkin mask is less head shaped in 3 dimensions, it's a flat head shape that pulls over like nylon hose would. But for me, it fits better this way.The material is more or less the same, and with the same visibility in my opinion. The big thing this has over the Morphsuit mask is that this one doesn't have a distracting logo on the back of the head/neck. There is no logo at all.It covers the neck fine, but if you're only wearing a t-shirt, it may ride up and expose skin if that's a concern to you.I think that you can see well enough to do simple things while wearing this, but you need a good amount of light. You certainly shouldn't be driving. You may even have a hard time looking at your cell phone. But for being at a party and walking around and talking to friends, it's fine.The orange color is a bit lighter than the stock photo.For the price, this mask is very nice.

I purchased this mask for my daughter, who wanted a Rorschach costume. What I learned very quickly is that this mask is virtually impossible to see out of and it’s difficult to breathe through as well. If you’re going to be walking around at night, this mask is completely impractical.My 11th hour desperation solution was to poke vertical holes in the mask using an X-acto stencil knife. To accomplish this, I put sheets of thick corrugated cardboard inside the mask so I wouldn’t penetrate completely through the back of the mask. If you look closely at the photo, you’ll see the holes. If I had limited the holes to the black sections of the mask or had more time to make the holes more uniform, they would have been less noticeable. In dim light, they weren’t noticeable at all.The holes dramatically increased vision and breathability, making the mask significantly more practical.On a side note, don't use a Sharpie marker on your mask, as they smell terrible. A fabric marker is a better choice.

Comfortable to wear and it did tuck into my shirt to provide total coverage. Thank you for taking my phantom costume to the ultimate scary. It worked perfectly. I could see and breathe easily, and didn't get too warm either. Great affordable fun and function. I do not like polyester. Thank you for the superior nylon fabric.

So, I purchased the black mask, and, it was just what I needed. There are two seams on the entire thing, one going all the way along the outer edge of the mask, and a smaller one in the center of that line in the middle of the top of your head that's going perpendicular. Unlike the ones sold by Morphsuits, this doesn't have anything built in for your chin, and is more like a sock than a mask, but it fits well, and it's easily see-through from the wearer's perspective. I did have a couple slight complaints, though: The neck doesn't go down very far, it just barely reached my shoulders. In strong light it is slightly see-through from an outsider perspective, it pushes slightly on the nose, and if you have fair skin it might show through the nose and chin of the mask just slightly. Other than that, great product, would buy again if I needed another one. Oh yeah, and my stubble goes through the fabric, so if you're not clean shaven it might feel strange if you rub the chin.

This worked great for my Slenderman costume! The only thing I wish was better was my quality of sight from under this mask. In was not very easy to see anything other than outlines of people, and sometimes nothing because I was out at night in this mask. The bottom of the mask rolled up my neck a little but I had a collared shirt on so it worked out for me.

My son needed one of these for his Halloween costume and it fit perfectly; he’s 11, but his head is teen/young adult sized: it appears opaque from the outside but you can see well through it.

I've a big head and it fits, does smoosh the eyes and nose but to be expectedeasy to see through in light, havent tested at night but don't expect perfect clarity; I mean, it IS a black face maskpic included to show it doesnt go very far down (1 star off) so plan accordingly for a turtleneck or high collared shirt

En teatro he usado varios tipos diferentes de mascaras como estas, y de diferentes marcas. Esta en especial, aunque cómoda... tiene muy mala visibilidad (se ve un 30%)... lo que hace difícil su correcto uso, en especial en escenarios con mucha utilería.Considero su uso peligroso en calle o en lugares donde "no ver" algo puede poner al usuario en riesgo.

Good quality, but standard size was a little smaller than I expected. Still fit, but only just barely, and I have an average sized head. You’ll want something with a high collar so your neck isn’t visible.A bit hard to see through, too. My face wasn’t visible through it. Good Halloween costume piece overall.

Was barely able to see anything when I put it on. The plus side is that it improves my view when I look in the mirror.

I saw some reviews saying this doesn't cover your neck, but mine certainly does. Tight, but not uncomfortable at all. Fair visibility in good lighting. Came clean, and free of weird factory smells. Will go great under my skull mask. I'm happy.

Length on neck is a bit short. So keep in mind for your intended use. Worked fine for a costume I purchased this for. Visibility reduced by maybe 30-40 percent? Can see larger objects and such fine in a well lit room but had trouble making out text on my phone screen.

Can't get more basic than this. This is what I expected, and perfect for a Spiderman noir costume
