We purchased this chair for me for recovery after radical hysterectomy/large incisional hernia repair and ab reconstruction. It was sturdy yet cozy. The recline function was perfect for the first few nights home from the hospital. The lift to stand feature was just what I needed. It does go slow but you need that after surgery. I had surgery in February so the heating feature was an added bonus as well.Easy to put together. Material was nice. Color was a bit more blue gray than dark gray.

My knees were killing me getting out of the recliner we had. It was too low to the ground with no arms to push from. Each time getting up was like rising from a deep squat. I'd looked into a lift chair that wasn't bonded leather and wasn't thousand or thousands of dollars. This fit the bill. I'm over 450lbs and the chair lifts me fine. Replacement motors can be had for around $100 if I manage to break the motor before I lose weight. Still cheaper than the more expensive chairs.The seat is wide. The only downside is the foot extention is super short for some reason. It hits me about lower calf and my legs dangle off the end. I'm 5'9. I dont know who it's made for, but they must be super short.I dont use the heat or massaging feature. I tried it but it just basically vibrates. And it's summer in the south and I don't need a heat feature. Ill try it during our two weeks of winter.Overall, I'm pleased. My knees feel much better overall. Maybe they'll heal. I'm not wrenching them every time I get up from sitting. It's not the most comfortable chair. But it's good for the money. I tried on a ton of chairs at our local furniture stores and this one is just as good as any of those at half the price plus delivery to my door for less than the furniture store would charge.

I brought two of these and let me tell you they haven't failed me yet I have them for about a year now I love sleeping in this chair more than sleeping in my bed.

I bought this chair because I recently had back surgery. I needed a chair that would lift me up and be comfortable. The chair is hard seating not soft and cushiony. If you like hard seating then this is the chair for you.

Chair was easy to assemble. Operating the features, every mode was smooth and worked.Chair looks great in room. Well made.I am happy and recommend this chair.

I bought this chair for my elderly mother with Dementia. She loves the chair! It was delivered quickly and was very easy to assemble. The only difficulty was that in order to raise and lower the chair she had to feel a long the side of the chair for the buttons. With her dementia it's hard for her to remember each time she sat there how to lift and lower it. I reached out to the manufacturer to see if there was some sort of adapter or remote with a cord so I could easily raise and lower the chair for her. Within probably 10 minutes I got a reply with exactly the solution I was hoping for. They mailed out the adaptive remote within a day or two along with a brief video showing how to connect it to the chair properly. Now, only a week later, we have the remote and my mom is even happier in her new "throne". I highly recommend the product and the manufacturer!
