Great in a small room!
Had a goose neck one with the classic tripod base and in our small snug we were constantly worrying about tripping over it! The base of this fits neatly under the chair and isn't a danger to anyone! It's also a decent weight, so even with a 10 inch Samsung tablet fitted, its not in danger of toppling. It seems strong, sturdy and almost infinitely variable. I use it for reading music off my tablet, and am absolutely delighted with it. Only time will tell how it will wear and last, but, for the moment, I couldn't be happier!

Great Articulate Arm Movement & Stability
Very pleased with this product. Its articulated arm movement is great and stable for my iPad. I was looking for such a product where I could lie down and watch a film at the correct reading distance to my glasses without having to manually hold the iPad. It is also stable to allow touch screen navigation if surfing the internet, etc. Its very, very easy to assemble the 5No. Parts which literaly took me 2 minutes and does not require any tools to do so. Its build qulity is very good as is the price for the product. It's base weight is well balance to allow the arm to be fully extended and movement joints can be locked via its hand turn knobs if required. All in all a great product as far as I am concerned.

No bouncing like gooseneck.
Best bed stand i’ve owned and i’ve had a few. Stays in place and doesn't bounce around like the gooseneck ones.

A sturdy and practical item.
I like this item because it is well built with a solid base to keep it from falling. It can be used for different uses and adjustable to suit your needs..it is great value item and easy to assemble. I used it to hold my tablet to video me playing my guitar as I learn.

Easy to install but don't trap your fingers in the springs like I did, ouch!
Really like this product despite traping my thumb in one of the springs within a minute of trying to put it together. Apart from that easy to put together and pretty sturdy. Does the floor plate have to be so heavy.... Mmmm maybe could of gone half the weight and still be solid. Once your device is in the clamp it's pretty secure. I have the case still on my Ipad Mini 5 not a problem it did full when it's upside down so I'd avoid doing that. Only other issue is if you type on the device it's bouncy because of tha springs. I will buy another one at some point for my mothers house and put it behind the computer desk. It's a bit like an anglepoise lamp so pretty flixable. Be careful when you move it as the polls can come lose so make sure everything is tight. Despite the issues I love it.

Sturdy and flexible- Doesn't fall over with iPad 10th generation
Love this, I am disabled and need to use a stand to hold my iPad and kindle for me. I spent awhile looking through the available ones to buy an Amazon and went for this one as it had the heaviest base available, so far absolutely no issues using it with my Kindle or iPad. Before I had a stand that clipped onto the side of the table but this is much easier to use. I am careful to remove the iPad/Kindle from the stand when I'm not using it and to have the base and facing the same direction. Seems very sturdy

Fairly heavy and stable base, very flexible.
Well made, nice range of movement, swivel head and will take 10inch or 12 inch iPads. This replaced a much cheaper but lighter stand, (does it always pay to buy cheap?) and I think that I made the right decision. I genuinely cannot see any downsides after over a fortnight of use.
