AMAZING FACE WASH - Just be sure to use it correctly
This face wash is one of the best salicylic acid washes I've found that is fragrance free. It's gentle, effective, and cleared my active pimples within a week. A lot of the negatives reviews seem to be from people who didn't use it correctly, so I want to give some pointers so you can get the most out of this product:- DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO ASPIRIN. Salicylic acid is from the same family of compounds.- DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR TRYING TO GET PREGNANT. Salicylic acid is not safe for use during pregnancy.- ALWAYS DO A PATCH TEST BEHIND YOUR EAR. Even if you don't have a known allergy to any of the ingredients, it's better safe than sorry.Okay, so with all that out of the way, here's what I did to get the best results:- Don't use this as an actual "cleanser". It's a treatment face wash, and it's not really a good idea to use anything with Salicylic acid to remove makeup either, especially around your eyes. This is true whether you have sensitive skin or not. Instead, use a makeup remover (or cleansing oil or whatever) to remove the makeup first, then do a quick wash with a really creamy cleanser (I used CeraVe Hydrating), THEN use a dime-size amount of the Neutralyze and apply it like you would a face mask (avoiding the eye area, lips, nostrils, etc). Leave it on for 1-2 minutes and wash it off, then follow up with a moisturizer IMMEDIATELY on WET skin and let it dry. This will help prevent your skin from drying out since you essentially "triple cleansed". Even better if the moisturizer has ceramides in it. If daytime, follow up with sunscreen after the moisturizer dries. If nighttime, you're good to go. Maybe do another layer of moisturizer.- If you're not wearing makeup, you can do a spot cleanse with a creamy cleanser around your eyes and then apply the Neutralyze on the rest of your face.- Don't use it in the same routine as tretinoin/Retin-A, adapalene/Differin, or any retinol for that matter. They will inactivate each other and dry the crap out of your face for good measure. Use it the morning after retinol or maybe the next night, just not at the same time. You can use it with Benzoyl Peroxide, but tread with caution, since BP is drying as hell.- Start off with once every other day. If that works for you, great. If not, then you can slowly build up to once or twice a day. Not everyone needs to use this twice a day to see best results.- Active acne will calm down first, within a week or two. Blackheads and sebacious filaments will take a bit longer and any dark spots (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation or eythema/redness) will take the longest to go.- If you start breaking out worse with the use of this product, and you've done all of the above, and ruled out any allergies, you may just be purging, especially if you've never used Salicylic Acid before. This means whatever pimples were underneath your skin and were going to surface at some point anyway are coming up all at once. Again, this is true whether or not your skin is sensitive, and it doesn't mean that this is a bad product. Give it a chance and stick through it for 6 weeks, because that's generally how long salicylic acid takes to show best results and in most cases, it gets much worse before it gets better. Moisturize your skin, don't overwhelm it with too many active ingredients, and you should be fine. After going through all of the above, if you still hate it after 6 weeks, by all means toss it.Sorry for the wall of text, but I hope the above info helps someone!P.S. This is also amazing for softening up keratosis pilaris (AKA chicken skin or goose skin) on your arms and legs.Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this product and I hope they never change or discontinue it.

Better than others!
As a "mature" lady, who has had extremely oily skin since hitting puberty, I have tried almost everything that is available. Most don't work as advertised, and are extremely over drying and irritating to the skin. I've even tolerated the skin irritation to attempt to control the acne.I found this product, and the wipes of the same brand, and figured that they would be another disappointment. Within a week, the pimples were smaller. I still have pimples after 3 weeks of use, but they are MUCH fewer, and smaller, less cystic, and not painful, and they are pretty easy to hide with a little makeup. The reason I am giving the product 5 stars, even though my skin is not clear, is the texture of my skin has drastically improved for the better! My very large pores have shrunken to the point that they rival the skin of someone who is not plagued with oily skin.I am actually convinced that, given enough time, the acne/pimples will continue to decrease in size and number, to the point I might just get the occasional one. I have decades of dealing with the issue, and nothing has seemed to lessen the oiliness, or acne like this has.I do use the combo of the cleaner and wipes, morning and night, and in using both, my skin does not feel oily when I wake up in the morning, or at the end of the day, so the product is aiding the condition from the deeper skin structures to the surface, hence why I believe in time, I will continue to see even more improvement. It takes a small amount of the cleanser to clean the face, so it does last. There is no harsh smell, and what is there is pleasant. Most people have acne until they reach a certain age. I never outgrew the problem. (Darn it!) But this product has been the best I have found, for my issues. Maybe it will help those like me that have dealt with it for decades.

Acne Skincare That Works
I'm always looking for skincare that would help combat my hormonal, and occasionally acne. Recently I've been breaking out due to hot weather, and my skin being oily than in winter months. I decided to try Nuetralyze Acne Face Wash to see if it helps. I like that it has no fragrance, and it's the perfect gel to foam cleanser that I usually purchase because that's better for oily skin. After using my skin is not oily, and skin feels refreshed and smooth. The areas I break out are drier and I believe that's from the salicylic acid. I'm not happy I've broken out more though, it's happened before with other products that have salicylic acid so I continue to use and see that those breakouts are clearing. I've been using for 3 weeks and notice that my occasional acne on side of face and forehead cleared up completely. I'm impressed with this cleanser and will continue to use. I highly recommend not to use with other acne treatments because it irritates your skin and dries and flakes up your skin. Also avoid your eye area, I had redness and irritation for days because I applied to my whole face. Definitely only use on the areas you break out!
