WWE: Kurt Angle: The Essential Collection (DVD)

I always figured the "Wrestling Machine" Kurt Angle would return home eventually--instead of toiling away in obscurity. It was also nice to hear Kurt's reasons for why he left in the first place--his disappointment with the creative direction in WWE at that time & other personal issues. Nevertheless, the Olympic Hero finally gets the DVD treatment & it doesn't disappoint.No documentary--just a great collection of matches with vignettes of Kurt in between. Not sure if there's a particular favorite--Kurt seemed to mesh with whoever he worked with; a few off the top off my head--the obvious HBK matches, the Triple Threat with Rock and Undertaker, Jericho, Edge--pretty much nothing on this collection was subpar.Maybe the only letdown was that Kurt didn't return sooner & have a few more classics before he retired. At any rate--if you like great wrestling--Kurt Angle rarely disappoints....

I’m a big wee fan and I loved Kurt angle when I was younger.

Great over view of Kurt's career at WWE with him commenting on the matches and stages of his rise to the top. I suppose there are great matches that didn't make the cut (& they will ignore the TNA years) but a damn fine set nonetheless.

Great kurt angle matches. Its true its dam true.

This is one of the better DVD sets on the WWE library. Very good matches.
