Item was good but you should let people know that there is no cabin air filter standard in the 2007 to 2014 Silverado 2500 HD among others. Most of these require you to cut open your airbox to install this there are YouTube videos on how to do it but this is a kit to add on a cabin air filter. And you can't do it on all of them you have to see if you have the cutout area that's been blocked off from the factory that you have to cut open some you can't. Watch the youtube videos before ordering. This is a nice filter to add to keep debris out of your air conditioning and heater units should have come with this from the factory but if you aren't capable of doing the modification then you should not buy it

Not bad retrofit, okay quality. Don’t use a box cutter to make way for the filter. Use a dremel disc (for plastic), watch a video for guidance. The kit came with a screw which was useless, it’s too small. Other than that, happy with my purchase. Thanks.

Has made a difference in quality of air in cabin since installation. Did need to watch some YouTube videos on how to install, but once you get the factory opening cleared out, installation is a breeze. Wish I would have done this sooner.

To insert the filtr you have to fold it like a taco, when I applied little pressure the plastic snapped. The so called filter broke on every fold point and have holes in the paper .

I heated a utility knife blade with a propane torch to cut out the slot for the filter to slip into. The rest of the job was quite easy. My vehicle 2009 Chevy 2500HD
