Used for tbi salad bowl mod. Worked excellent.
Perfect for my project. Welded nicely. Steel has held up in an engine bay for over a year now.

Very large bowl for batch processing. Good quality stainless steel.
This stainless steel mixing bowl is exactly what I was looking for. I have a 13qt stainless steel mixing bowl that I had been using for preparing homemade organic/gluten free breakfast sausage. To give you an idea of the amount in the recipe: 3-1/2 lbs ground meat, 16 lbs apples diced, about 24 oz bread crumbs, about 16 oz of my own dry spice mixture and about a cup of avocado oil. I was struggling to get it properly mixed in the 13qt bowl because it filled it right to the top. This 20qt version is just what I needed - you can see that there is sufficient space to mix everything without it falling out over the edge. The stainless steel is excellent quality and it's not too heavy when empty. It is huge and one must be creative when finding storage. I showed photo in dishwasher just to show that it fits; although I did wash by hand. Notice the sticker is on the bottom and not inside the bowl. Highly recommended for big batch processing!!

high quality and a great value
This bowl is much nicer than I expected. I own some smaller restaurant quality mixing bowls and I while I initially wanted to get a 30qt version of those I decided to try this one first since it’s a fifth the price. I’m glad I did because the quality is nearly as good. It’s much sturdier than I thought it would be. It’s heavy but not overly so and the bottom is true flat, it doesn’t pop or spin on the countertop. The size is great. We’re a family of ten and I can make batches of meals in this bowl that are large enough to freeze as 5-7 complete meals for all of us. I make things like fried rice, pasta bakes, chicken pot pies, stir fry, and casseroles with plenty of room to mix everything without worrying if I’m overfilling the bowl and will make a mess. It’s also nice for bread baking. I like to use my stand mixer to knead dough so I can bake a bunch of bread to freeze. This big mixing bowl means I can have them all rise in the same bowl while waiting to be baked and not dirty all my other mixing bowls. The one thing I don’t like about it is that it’s difficult to wash. I usually hold it upright and use the sprayer to clean it out then scrub it with it flat on the counter followed by a rinse.

It does the job.
This is a really good bowl. Very sturdy and maintains is shape. I’ve read some review for other bowls where complain about their bowls warping. This has no flex and is very solid but not heavy. It’s been about a few weeks of use and so far no signs of rust. You’re going to see scratches being that the inner part is polished and if you use metal on metal...it scratches. So I find it odd when people complain about that in general. I don’t know how that will impact durability over time, if at all. 8qt is really wide but that’s because it didn’t know what to expect size wise. It is a flatter bowl but the pictures clearly show that and it’s what I wanted. So overall, very satisfied with it and have no major complains. Planning on buying the smaller sizes.

we use it weekly.
this bowl does so much. I would never give it up. imagine 7 kids eating popcorn out of it while watching their weekend family movie. we made 2 gallons of pico salsa in it this week. the hardest part was drilling a perfect sized nail hole in the lip to hang it in the pantry. It's HUGE. :)

False advertising?
The item is sold as a 5quart mixing bowl. If that be the case then it should hold 5 quarts. I filled the bowl with water and it didn’t even hold 4 quarts. The quality is good but it doesn’t meet the expectations. The third party seller stated that it is a standard bowl. I don’t know who’s standards it meets but surely not the US weights and measures standards.

Huge!
Wow...... this thing is gargantuan 😲. If people are winning about it ignore them... they’re probably having a bad day. I’ll probably have to store this under my bed it’s so freaking big! The one picture is with my almost 6 year old. I wanted a big bowl to rise bread dough in because I do 4 loaves at a time. This will definitely fit any amount of dough that I’ll need! Very happy with with this purchase! 🤗.Update several years later 🤣: so my opinion now on them is they're a bit thin but for the price I think they're good quality. I have 2, 20 qt and 16 qt bowls from this same company because I wanted to make sure they were similar in shape so I could stack them easily. Honestly I prefer the 16 qt because it's still very large and can probably fit 2 home grown chickens (so large chickens) in it. Although I can fit the 16 qt in my sink whereas I can't the 20 qt. Hope that helps! I like giving these as wedding gifts because it's unique and there's always a need for a huge bowl at some point!
