Diatomaceous Earth Has Good Water Absorption Performance ยทDiatomaceous earth is formed by the accumulation of diatom remains from 10,000 to 20,000 years ago. There are countless fine water-absorbing holes on the surface, which has strong water absorption. ยทDiatomaceous earth comes from nature, has strong absorption, stable chemical properties, wear-resistant and heat-resistant, can adjust humidity, and can be used in many places. ยทDiatom sticks can be used in the protection industry, such as the protection of laboratory things, food refrigeration, it can be used to absorb moisture, agriculture preservation etc. Review: Useful and effective for drying the interior channels of men's sex toys. - I use these to dry out the interior channels of various male-friendly sex toys after washing those channels out using water and soap. Some such toys can be really difficult to dry out properly using a towel or air drying, because they can't be turned inside out to expose the inner depths, and if the channel is tight and narrow then water can't really evaporate out. it's important for hygiene and to preserve those toys that they be stored clean and dry. These drying rod's seem to work well quite at soaking up the water and leaving the interior channels dry and clean, ready for safe storage. I ordered a 5 pack for $10, so a fair price considering they can be used and reused. Each stick came in it's own sealed packaging. They feel similar to a long, smooth rod of chalk. My only complaint is that the text on the packaging is all Japanese so I can't read it without using translation tools. But that's pretty inconsequential, because there's really no need for directions with something as simple and straight forward to use as these. Review: These actually work well. - I was skeptical, but I thought I'd try these. I'm surprised how well they work. You do have to actually touch them to the water you want to absorb, they don't seem to be miracle workers and wick water from the air, but they do absorb water well. They also break if you look at them the wrong way, so be VERY careful with them. Mine came undamaged in good packaging.

Great for leaking window
I am pleasantly surprised. Bought these for a leaking window. Window would leak where the 2 pieces meet and it locks. I put a few of these up on that ledge and waited for our next rain. This absorbed the water pretty well. It is true though....they have to be touching the water to work. And since it sits on that window ledge in the sun...it dries easily too. They are delicate though. One rolled off that ledge and broke. However, that is to be expected based on the material. I just put the pieces back up on the ledge in a row and they still work great for the window issue.

They absord water like crazy
I've never used things like this before so I have nothing to compare them to, but these work amazingly well. You have to use them properly. If you have an object that has droplets of water on it, these aren't going to make them go away just by sucking moisture out of the air, the stick needs to touch the water. But once they touch a water droplet they will actually suck it up like a vacuum (even against gravity). It's really neat. Put a little puddle of water on a desk and then put the stick on top of it and you'll see it slowly shrinking the pool. If you need the inside of something dried out, you'll have to slide one of these sticks inside and then squeeze the object repeatedly (GENTLY, THESE THINGS ARE FRAGILE!). The stick needs to physically touch the water that you want it to absorb. As for drying out things like phones or whatnot, I haven't used it for that and I can't speak to that. I assume you'd need one of these sticks inside a ziploc bag and the object you're trying to dry out, and it'll take time. But it should do the job, the water absorption capability of this material is unreal. Apparently placing it in direct sunlight will dry it back out. (A dusty film comes off these when you rub them with your fingers, like chalk. It may be safe, it may not be. I personally wouldn't put this inside a bag of dry cat food like they advertise, or anything any animal or person would eat. Use specially made containers for that.)

Versatile uses + Safe for drying delicate materials
TLDR: They're quite effective for maintaining a clean, dry environment in delicate and moisture-prone areas. Most importantly is that they're smooth, making them gentle on delicate and porous materials like TPE silicone or similar surfaces that are most vulnerable when wet. Their ability to reduce moisture not only helps preserve such materials but also limits bacterial and mold growth by creating a less hospitable environment to grow in. They self-dry, absorb moisture very quickly, and can last a while depending on the use. I starting buying from these guys a year or so ago and haven't had any issue. I see no reason to not give 5 stars.

Does the trick
Great for part of a cleaning routine of hole type adult toys, just don't drop them or it'll instantly snap in half, nor leave it in for too long or it'll get disgusting very quick
