Tres Estrellas Traditional Hot Cakes Mix, 17.6 Ounce (Pack of 12)

We love these pancakes. Discovered them when we spent time in San Miguel de Allende. We keep a supply on hand.

Pancakes came out tasting delicious. Reminded me of when I was younger and mom made us breakfast. Good times.

This mix yields tastier pancakes than all the major pancake mixes found in most stores that require more than just adding water that I have tried (Bisquick, Hungry Jack, Aunt Jemima, a few store brand generics). Of the mixes that say to only add water I do not know. The only thing missing in the directions is to add about a tsp. of vanilla for every cup of mix for more flavor and they come out delicious, moist, and fluffy. I wish this mix was found in more major stores because this mix is great.

My ex wife is from Mexico and she made these for me all the time.. They have a really great sweet flavor.. To me it almost was a slight amaretto flavor.. I highly recommend this mix..

I just love how fluffy and sweet this pancakes turn out. If you find them to be too sweet just add a little (1/4 C.?) Flour. Enjoy
