Basting Spoons 6 Pack, Soup Spoons Red and Black with Long Handle

Bought these as kind of an afterthought to go with the cute red and black Japanese Plastic Noodle Bowls ( Item JapanBargain S-2045 ). I always enjoyed using this type of spoon in a restaurant, but it never occurred to me that I could buy them for home use. Just the right size, and the longer handle with the little lip at the top means I won't lose the spoon anymore in the bowl of hot soup. Genius! The flat bottom also means I can use a fork to twirl those yummy noodles into the right size bite in the spoon itself. These were a great price and I'm really pleased with them.

Inexpensive yet finely detailed, these spoons were the buzz at my last oriental feast. Truly added to everyone's enjoyment (along with my porcelain kitty chopstick rests!). If you love playing host and fussing over the details, these little guys go a long way in helping you serve oriental style graciously.

I bought these to eat pho soup at home, they’re good and hold a good amount of soup. But... I put one in the dishwasher and it changed is not shiny anymore... don’t put them in the dishwasher. I’m glad the other ones survived.

I knew these would be kind of cheap when I ordered them, but they will serve their purpose at least for a little while. When these arrived they had some kind of odd residue on them, but a good wash removed that. I could wish they were a little bit bigger, but we only use them occasionally for take-out Pho, so they will be fine for our uses.

It would have been perfect but the soup spoons arrived dirty and one was broken. Not too bad having 5 spoons left for the price you pay but still kinda sucks. Otherwise, these soup spoons are great and serves its purpose.

Looks like there was a problem in forming these as the bowls of the spoons where the soup rests is slightly rough. Much prefer the smooth but boring white finish of the Hiware 12 piece Asian soup spoons.

Love our set of soup spoons! Highly recommended to all & would order again. Easy for the kids to use without making any messy spills like with traditional spoons.
