This Bonsaii 12-sheet cross-cut shredder has completely exceeded my expectations. It’s hands-down the best shredder I’ve ever had.It handles 10 pages at a time with no problem, and I’m impressed by how little it slows down, even during longer shredding sessions. So far, I haven’t had any issues with overheating or needing to pause, which is a huge plus.The cross-cut feature gives me peace of mind with extra security, and it even shreds credit cards with ease. I also really appreciate the clear window on the bin, which makes it super easy to see when it’s getting full — no guessing or unexpected messes.Overall, this is a solid, powerful shredder that’s easy to use and feels built to last. Apr 2023 Update: 6+ months and this thing is still going strong! Just bought shredder oil sheets for the first time ever because how durable it's been!Original Review: So far this is the best shredder I've ever owned by a wide margin! Glad I spent a little bit more money on a much higher quality product (I got the 10min one too), this is the best bang for your buck!I've had a few shredders before in the ~$40 range (mostly Staples ones) that broke pretty quickly -- this one really doesn't cost that much more, comparatively. They'd only be able to do like 5 sheets (nowhere near 12) and eventually plastic bits would start falling out of the insides and it would stop working. If you put in like 4 sheets and folded one accidentally, those would jam immediately. Then the jams would be hard to clear and could damage the shredder. Or you'd run it for like a minute and it would start overheating already and start malfunctioning.So far, with this shredder, in a few weeks' time period, I already shredded more than I have in the past 5 years combined. Probably did like ~10,000 sheets of lots of old documents. That's how much of a powerhouse this shredder is compared to all the other ones I've owned previously! So it's been easily worth the money already as it has outlasted the others that would start malfunctioning at ~1,000 sheets.It's also never jammed on me! I've never tried 12 sheets on it, but it'll do 6 sheets no problem, whereas my previous shredders would start falling apart -- literally -- if you tried 6 sheets.And this thing can run for like an hour without overheating! Like I get tired out and I have to take a break well before it overheats. Whereas with previous ones, I'd spend like 2 minutes and already had to wait for it to cool down. Now the bottleneck isn't the shredder, but me!Also, because it's been so durable so far, I'm no longer afraid of shredding things here and there, worried that the shredder might suddenly break. Sometimes I shred some old documents as a therapeutic, meditative activity now -- shred your worries away xDIt also holds more paper than my previous shredders before I have to clean it out. And while it is taller than I expected, that surprisingly made it more ergonomic so I didn't have to lean over as much while shredding.As some reviewers have noted, when I got it I did check the insides and did see some bits of shredded paper. That seemed sketchy, but it does say on the note that comes with it that they "test every shredder" and so that's why you might see some leftover bits. And honestly, even if it is used, it's outlasted my previous shredders by a 10x margin already, so it's good quality stuff either way.So, overall, well worth the price, best bag for my buck I've had with a shredder. Bonsaii also has a 1-year warranty (and the reviews seem to say that they've made good on that too!), which is why I originally bought it with my past shredder purchases going awry. But I guess it's as they say, if a company is confident in such a long warranty, the product probably isn't going to break quickly! Hoping to have this last for many more years :)

This is a great little shredder. It was a little smaller than I was expecting it to be, but gets the job done well. It does slow down and can struggle with any more than 6 or 7 sheets of paper at a time. Medium thick envelopes will get stuck and I have to manually turn on the forward mode to get them through. Be sure to add oil to the blades every month or so if you use it regularly. That will help keep it cutting smoothly and quickly.For the price and what it does, I would buy it again.

I was recently going through old taxes and mounds of paperwork at my parents. My father is an accountant and because of that profession he has records of everything. I sorted paperwork and my husband's worked the paper shredder until the end of its life. Still having piles of documents that needed shredding I went to Amazon because I didn't want to waste time at a box store searching for a paper shredder. My husband said this paper shredder is a beast. The durability of the shredder exceeded his expectations. He kept pushing the boundaries of how much paper it could take at one time and it kept on shredding. The shredder is definitely worth the price that I've paid and would happily do again as this is one heck of a quality built shredder.

I want to give a loud shout-out approval to the product. it has worked flawlessly and saved me a lot of money, by not using a shredding company. I have it set up in my home office next to my desk. It has shredded everything without it stopping including multiple paper. CD's and old CC cards. It empty's very easily. i like the switch that it will only run when something is being shredded. The basket holds quite a bit before it needs to be emptied. Very happy.

Wife loves it. She says this does a great job, has a big basket and handles everything. She takes breaks to look at papers before shredding, so 5 minutes shredding is plenty. The only issue? Why didn't we buy this sooner!

Serious shredder, has a 12 page capacity and will shred a credit card with ease, very nice piece of equipment, at home in a business office or home office, works really well. I did have to replace the plug after the prongs bent and broke when I tried to straighten it, plug is very cheaply made but the product itself is excellent.

Great addition to my home office. I didn't want to throw letters and documents into the garbage bin and looked for a shredder to destroy sensitive documents. I found this one and was not sure after reading some comments and reviews claiming that the shredder is weak or not capable to handle multiple pages.I am using my shredder for 4 month now and I love it. I go through a lot of documents and have to empty the bin every other week. No complain at all. I shred up to 3-4 page at a time (still stapled) and the shredder "eats" them pretty fast (almost difficult to keep feeding). I have disposed larger stacks of documents (30-40 pages) in one session and the shredder never complained - I have never seen the "Overheat" warning light coming up.Great little helper - love it.
