FunkAway Aerosol Spray, 8 oz., Extreme Odor Eliminator Spray, Ideal for Shoe Smells, Pet Odors and Bulky Stuff that Won't Fit in the Wash; Attacks Musty Odors at the Source

I got this spray to use in everyday shoes but find it is most effective in my lined clog slippers that stink even when I wear socks. I spray them and let them dry completely, usually allowing a full day, before wearing them again and this spray is effective! The clean smell lasts for a few wears before they get stinky again but it’s not as bad as before using the spray so the odor is toned down. Definitely good to have on hand.

1. Smells almosr like the "linen" fragrance commonly used. I like it, the people around me comment and say that sanitizer smells great! I use on skate insoles and safety pads. 2. It comes out a heavy spray so just quickly spray my stuff, not wanting to overuse/saturate, doesnt seem to need to be sopping wet (like they suggest) to be effective (so far) 3. Ingredients seemingly are Acetone and ethenol? I take my insoles out bc i dont want to damage the leather inside my skates, it might eat away at any adhesives used or nylon/synthetic threads. Just erring on the side of caution. 4. I left in bag in car. It was cold. When i twist unlocked the spray nozzle it released pressure and sprayed me in the face, glad i had eyewear on! So.... beware of temperature changes and point away. Its been a bit leaky at nozzle the last use. Ill keep an "eye" on it (badda-bump!) Overall no complaints and currently all positive. Just seeing how long it will take b4 i need to wash my gear again!? Might try the other squeeze pump style next time instead of pressurized aerosol :) *Adding, just bought a bottle of the pump style :)

Took several rounds of spray and airing out but this helped me get a smoke smell out of a used handbag so I’m happy with it. The scent is a bit strong but I think it smells pretty good, just something to keep in mind if you are highly sensitive to scents. Hard to wash off your hands if it gets on them

Works great!!! BUT expensive...

Omg this works my son feet stink so bad he comes home from work ong you know he is home I git this and he comes in sprays and smells good

Used it for boots and it does work, eliminate the odor and everything. However, the smell of this spray is so strong and overpowering that it has still stayed within my shoe for weeks and continue to smell this way. It's a little bit nauseating and giving a headache. It does the job, but the smell is very very very strong and sensitive

Works great. Smell is a bit strong, so it's best to leave footwear to air out for several hours

Smells great but spraying mechanism stops working very soon.
