Boxulock CCTV security camera weatherproof protective housing sun shade, rain shield (2, Black)

I was looking for protective covers for some cctv cameras to protect them from the weather as best as i can .Came across these covers and for the price decided to give them a go . Was impressed as soon as i opened the box ,as they were made of a very sturdy plastic .they covered the cameras perfectly and were so easy to fit a child could do it .The cameras are supposed to be waterproof and all that but , cameras are expensive to replace , in both purchasing replacements and then having to fit them . So spending a few extra pound on these covers were well worth it . It should add years to the life of the system .

There's nothing to dislike about this weather/sun shade. I’ve got them on two cameras and the extra protection against the elements should hopefully extend the life of the cameras. Easy to install and it’s worth putting some sealer between the wall and the fitting if you’ve got pebbledash. I was regularly having to brush off spider webs but having sprayed around the whole area with an insect repellent (spiders don’t like peppermint !) has cut down on the number of times I have to get the brush out.

I like the size and they should help my cameras outsize stand all weather

They work perfectly with the Google nest outdoor camera's, only gripe was that only one came with screws of which three were required.They also do not protude that much so look fine with newer security cameras.Only downside is that they make a great home for cobwebs.

initially thought it was too long/big for the size of my security cam but ended up being very useful to block strong sunlight as well as raindrops during windy rain conditions.Very easy to install the hardplastic is of good quality .
