I was a little doubtful as to whether this little light would do the job and also the cheap price. But don’t be fooled this product is excellent. There are three light settings to stimulate the outdoor environment and the brightness levels can also be controlled. Can be very bright, medium, or dim.I use it on my indoor Bonsai tree and it’s growing tall with lots of new shoots, and the tree is very happy with this light! The only downside is that it’s not externally steady but you can use blu tack underneath like I have! The light is also flexible so you can point it down, side ways, or upwards.Would highly recommend and it’s not expensive either!

It seems to work great so far, however, it does have trouble standing up as the light is heavier than the tripod so I've had to put some Blu Tack on the back foot. It also doesn't come with its own plug but it does use USB so I just plugged it into my PS4 but this may be an issue for some.

The media could not be loaded.  Great price. Colours cozzy and plants are still growing beginning of November. Ideal for smaller plants in the bedroom. So easy to use and the brightness levels are good and also there are other colour options

MY plants seem happy with my purchase and it seems well made. It’s very handy and easy to move if needed. A good option as the days are getting darker

I use these over a table with 6x small pots made up of seedlings. I like the fact you can just set and forget and I tend to use the 12 hrs on / 12 hrs off.What I like less is the stability. The clamp style ones are much more stable. If you really do need free-standing then you can try this but it's very unstable (fine if it's not going to be moved around) but if you have kids/pets in the vicinity it will very easily be knocked down.Feels fairly cheap and lightweight, but seems to be doing the job as the plants are doing OK.

Grow light, one armWhen I got this it was in a long box, the light strip part had to be screwed on to the tripod, easy to do, as the tripod it totally separate from the light, I would think it would be possible to use the light strip on its own, say fixed underneath a shelf if needed.I wasn't really impressed with the amount of light it threw out but it will be fine for my purpose which is to use it for extra light at the beginning of the year for my pepper, tomato and chilli seedlings, hoping they won't get too leggy with the extra light, we'll see.I took some photos on my stove top to give some idea of the size.I noticed when I had the legs extended (just pull out the silver coloured extensions on the ends) it was very stable but without the legs extended the light fell over. I fixed this by repositioning the light so that it was over one of the legs. I haven't found a way to completely flatten the legs to give a very low height, doesn't look as though it can be done.It comes with a USB cable attached and according to the easy to read instructions the input voltage should be DC5V/1A or 5V/2A so better to look at your charger plug and see if they match. Could also be used with a power bank if needed. Can only be used indoors, not for outdoor use.There is a nice little control switch on the very long cable, with push type switches. One for on/off, one for timing, one for brightness/dimming levels and one to control which colour lights you wish to use.As this light only costs £9.99 at time of writing, it's certainly worth a try. If it doesn't work for your plants, it could still be used as a colourful desk lamp or under cupboard light. I like to find as many uses as I can for my purchases.

I like that this is USB based as I use it on my bathroom which does not have much natural light in the afternoons with powerbank.I would have preferred that instead of feet, it has a rod to stick into soil for sturdiness as I struggle to find a suitable space for the legs as I am using it in a wetroom.It will suffice as I can use it on the window ledge albeit awkward.It is ok and helps my palm plant grow whereas it has been unhappy for years and slowly dying until inresorted to placing some USB based grow lights around it and it is now starting to flourish again. 🌿🌿🌿
