Worship: The Reason We Were Created-Collected Insights from A. W. Tozer

Tozer has a heart for worship and it really comes out in this book. There are a great many insights that will open your eyes to passionate worship of Jesus.

This is probably the best book on worship I've read. If you're a worship leader, especially if you're just stepping into the role (or even if you've been doing it for decades), you really should read this book. It's actually fairly short but if you're a highlighter you might run out of ink as so much of it is just pure gold. I constantly find myself quoting Tozer to my worship team. I bought several copies and make it required reading for anyone on the worship team who wants to step into the leader role. Definitely worth picking up a copy.

Good grounding on what worship is and the importance it holds in the lives of believers. I know I'm not where I should be and I know I didn't understand all of this... But it is a good reminder to focus on Christ and worshipping HIM. That's the important part.

Such an amazing book! I didn't expect it to inspire worship, but it really does! So far, it is my favorite book about worship!

Great secondhand book. The description said the book showed signs of wear, but I have yet to discover why.

Tozer packs so much into a small space. I used this as a devotional because his thoughts and exhortations on worship cut to the core humanity's struggles.

Leave it to Tozer to back everything up with both scripture and experience, and though a bit cerebral, hits all the important points about worship.
