AMACO A-Mix Stoneware Clay, No. 11, 50 Pounds, White

This clay is so easy to use and is beautiful for throwing on the wheel. I tried to use it for molds, and it is a little too wet for my liking, but the price is so right for 50# stoneware! I couldn't be happier with the quality and the customer service that corrected an error with my order super quickly! I am definitely ordering again and again! Edited to add, it also fires beautifully to Cone 6! I will be ordering more!

I primarily throw medium objects as well as two and three piece objects. This clay works well for me. It is very smooth, and fires to a nice white color. The glazes grab on to it very nicely. I want to reorder immediately, but for some reason it is no longer available. It was delivered in good shape by UPS.

This clay came with the bags wide open upon opening the box which made the clay dry and a nightmare to even attempt to throw with. I’d return if it wasn’t such a hassle. Will not purchase again.

Very nice white clay, silky smooth. A little on the wet side, but easily remedied. Love the price and free shipping with Prime. Shipped quickly and I received exactly what I ordered. Rec'd before the expected due date. The delivery was done without a hitch. The clay is exactly what it is supposed to be and at a very good price.

I have purchased this 3 times and this is my last. It is so full of air bubbles and too wet this time. It’s gonna take a lot of drying out and wedging :(

More air pockets than I’ve seen in other clays

Disappointed to find the clay is supersaturated. I don't like when manufacturers ship super soft clay and effectively sell me water.... I wonder what it will weigh when i dry it out enough to throw it??

Great product and customer service. My first order went missing somehow, so thanks for losing 50 lbs of clay UPS. I contacted the seller and was given a refund to reorder my clay. It arrived early and was in great condition. I have not fired or glazed any pieces yet. But it throws well and wedges for me well.
