★★★★★I recently purchased this shelf from Amazon, and I have had a rather interesting experience with it. The shelf is made of synthetic wood with a relatively thin metal frame, and my first impression was overwhelmingly positive.The first shelf I received was a breeze to assemble. It's incredibly sturdy, and the design is not only functional but also visually appealing. It's remarkable how well it holds up despite its relatively slim frame. I was thoroughly impressed with its stability.However, my second purchase didn't go as smoothly. The frame arrived damaged, most likely due to its weight (approximately 100 lbs). I was understandably concerned, but that's when I had the opportunity to experience the excellent customer service this company provides.I reached out to customer service, and within just two days, I received a prompt and helpful response. They provided me with two options: they could either send a replacement part or a new parcel to pick and choose parts from. I chose the latter, and when it arrived, I found that, unfortunately, the frame was also damaged.At this point, I was left with two shelves with damaged frames, which seemed like a waste. So, I decided to get creative. I used the damaged frames from the second shipment to build the third shelf. While it may not be the most visually appealing, it serves a practical purpose. In fact, it now looks like a unique wall shelf that adds character to my space.In the end, despite the hiccup with the damaged frames, I can't help but give this product a five-star rating. The initial shelf I received is fantastic in terms of sturdiness and ease of assembly. Plus, the exceptional customer service and the creative solution I found for the damaged frames only solidify my satisfaction with this purchase. I have not one, not two, but three useful shelves that serve me well, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

This really is an amazing addition to my library, was looking for a high quality piece for a reasonably low price and found this. Met all my expectations and I'm very picky. Will add another pair in the future, as my library grows. Easy to assemble, neatly packaged, arrived in a perfect condition. Took me about 3 hours to put it together. ,

As a writer and publisher, I need functional and decorative shelving. This large and heavy duty shelf is perfect for displaying my publishing company books.Noteworthy: the instructions are awesome. Be sure all the “ladders” are aligned as laid out in the instructions, as well as, flat boards are all facing the same way. Fortunately, I only had one “ladder” to deconstruct and turn around; luckily it was an end piece.It is very easy, albeit tedious for one person, to construct. This shelf is well worth the price.

I ordered 2 of these for my great room wall. We really wanted to have a library wall built but the price tag was a whopping $13,000! I wanted the rail, ladder and whole shabang. These bookshelves are huge, which is great because we have A LOT of books. I still want a rail and ladder to complete the look and it would work great for our space. While they are not a built in feature, they look rich and will save me thousands of $$$

This shelf is beautiful, looks exactly like the picture. Easy to put together, although I do recommend having a second person to help (once you get one shelf affixed to the metal bars, you could do it on your own). The only issue I had was that I have fairly large trim for my floors in my older house, so the brackets provided to secure to wall don’t work for me because I can’t get the shelf close enough to the wall for them to work and still have it level. Was able to fix by getting a 5” L-bracket to compensate, but it’s something to consider. Overall, very glad I went with these. They look great, are sturdy, and have plenty of space since they’re open in the interiors areas on all but one shelf.

I was looking for sturdy shelves for my books and games and this definitely fit the bill!! The bookshelves are incredibly solid and it seems very well made for the price. Putting it together was kind of tough as I tried to do it by myself in a small space, but once you got some of the pieces together it wasn’t too bad. Absolutely recommend these shelves to anyone looking.

Very well made shelf, the customer service was amazing and kept us updated along the shipping process. Very heavy, will need at least 2 people to carry!
