Was skeptical but glad I purchased. Great protection and many other photographers see and want to know where I purchased

When I put it on first I thought I’d made a mistake but quickly realized you simply pop out the little cut at the bottom for the lower camera threads and your QR Arca plate just goes over the cover. However if you have an adjustable plate that sits off center it won’t seat level. Not a deal breaker though.I like the added protection simply because I am prone to dropping my gear and don’t use a camera strap.

Overall I like this a lot. Gives me a bit of protection for the camera and it looks good. My only issues are 1) if you’re not familiar with the camera you don’t know where/what all the buttons are so you may find yourself struggling until you get comfortable.2) replacing the battery is a little snug; used to be able to do it one handed but now you need two.

I had to take an xacto knife and shave/cut pieces of this off for proper use. The rubber cover sits too close to the front and rear dials preventing them from rotating quickly/properly. If you shoot in manual and make quick adjustments with the dials I suggest you do the same.
