I got this to charge the battery in my ATV and my other LiFePO4 batteries. It was pretty easy to use compare to my other chargers. There are different battery type on the front and you just need to select the type you’re charging. I’ve done LEAD batteries and LiFePO4 so far and they work great. It charges through 9 levels and from what I’ve read, it’s much better for the longevity of the battery. For standard lithium batteries, you’ll want to get a battery management system (BMS) and not connect to it directly. Hope this helps.

this is probs one of the only chargers on amazon hats worth a damn. with this variant you can choose the battery type and 3 different charge speeds to the one you prefer/want. this gives you alot of options to make your battery last long with a slow charge or if you need it charged NOW it rips. though i will say the wires do get a bit toasty after along charge session at the highest charge, but not to dangerous levels like some claim, they probably bent the wires to much and crimped them. also you can replace the wires if you desire, this charger as the standard xt60 connector on it, so you can buy one from amazon with ring connectors so you dont need to crimp wires yourself. Also i figured something else out with it, when charging at lower speeds it doesnt go above 14.2v, but when charging about 20amps it charges to 14.6v. i like that so when someone wants to charge slow itll also not charge the batteries to absolute max, making the battery last longer in the long run. This is one of the only chargers that actually give you the options you need to make sure you get what you want. instead of relying on those ccrappy auto chargers that never work or fail within a year. reason it doesnt get 5/5 is cuz i would really like to see a dial that i can adjust to any watts i would like and the wires on the 12v side could be a little thicker, but overal good charger.

The charger works, but it puts out so much heat from the small fan I would not trust how long it last in a hot climate. You can't install it inside a boat hull the amount of heat it puts out. The cable with the battery clamps wire size is about 12 - 14-gauge not heavy enough for 35 amps. With the extreme heat coming from the box I would not install this near anything that could catch fire if you ran it long term. The output plug is a XT plug used in the RC hobby industry one could make their own cables if they wanted.
