Zyxel 8-Port GbE Smart Hybrid Mode Switch | Standalone or Nebula Cloud | Desktop | Fanless [GS1915-8]

Excellent small switch, especially if you’re already using Zyxel Nebula. I paired this GS1915-8 with my main Zyxel XMG switch and managed everything centrally through Nebula. At that point I was already familiar with Nebula (after setting up the main switch and Wi-Fi AP), and configuring ports for different VLANs on this was genuinely straightforward - quick, consistent, and easy to change later. It replaced a “simpler” Netgear web-managed switch that I was constantly fighting to get VLANs configured correctly. This has been the opposite experience: once adopted into Nebula, it just behaves the way you expect and has been completely reliable.

I had an issue when wfh when I would loose my connection for an hour a week. Tracked it down to the switch in my office.Basic switch from another vendor Decided to get serious and bought this switch as the interface is a pleasure to use plus I like nice graphs showing my internet usage. So a lot of features for a modest uplift over unmanaged basic switches I have had another zyxel switch in the house that has been quietly working away for >10 years which I also upgraded as more nice graphs but also upgrading to gigabit. So if you want something that does nice graphs plus will tell you what is wrong plus lots of other advanced features, you won’t be disappointed
