I first bought one from Direct Sales, it arrived with a HUGE dent in the side, a rather sizable chunk missing out the end of one of the fan blades, like a pea, as if the blade had been hit with something, scuffs on the front logo, it was as if it had been used before tbf, wasn't even wrapped in plastic in the box and the box was haphazardly taped up... and didn't even match the pictures on the product page with 2 bars being attached to the sides that slot into the other bar that forms the base (as you can see in the pictures on this page, the bar that forms the base is directly attached to the fan cage, it is not in 2 parts although the stand CAN be removed entirely)The second I bought after returning that was from the other seller listed here "Purel-PureLifestyleWonders" and they have delivered one that matches the picture, in perfect condition. My review rating is based off receiving the CORRECT fan from them and I can agree with other reviews that this thing really moves air, even on the lowest setting it's like a miniature hurricane, well worth the money if you don't mind the increased noise (probably caused by the increased RPM and different fan blade shape compared to standard home/office fans, they seem to pick up air and push it a lot better than the flatter plastic blades).Summary; Brilliant fan, well worth the money and will outdo any typical home/office fans but BE CAREFUL WHO YOU BUY IT FROM! Seller ratings are deceptive.

Wow! If anyone says it’s quiet don’t believe them. Even on the lowest setting it’s not quiet. Do I care? Absolutely not! I’ve been roasting because of this damp humidity and neither of my fans have done anything, unless I sit in front of them but then as soon as you walk away you’re hot again. Unboxed this beauty and switched her on. After a short time I felt a lot better. After about 30 mins I started to feel cool and then cold! Actually felt cold! Fantastic! The cats love it. The noise does t bother them. Tv volume had to be turned up but that’s not a problem. Actually feel like the fan has pushed the hot air out of the flat. Def worth it. Highly recommended.

What a great fan used in restaurant business so the noise isn’t an issue but very powerful

Didn't think about it being floor level being a hazard for my little one. His little fingers go right through the gaps.It's up high now.I only use for short bursts as its powerful. On highest setting gives me a headache.Does the job just loud.

Highly recommended fan this is second purchase was invaluable during this unprecedented weather we have been experiencing in the UK. Can't quite understand why you ask for Remote as there is not one available? Very well made and very functional. The sound is little loud but well worth turning up the volume on the TV a little. The benefits far outweigh the sound I promise.However this new control at rear unlike the image shown is not as good as my first one with the buttons but certainly doesn't bother me that muchHighly Recommended
