I am super happy with this gimbal it is super smooth
I am super happy with this gimbal it is super smooth. I have had this submerged in water and it worked flawlessly. it is well built and looks really nice. I create a lot of drive videos with my gopro and this makes all my videos very smooth. The battery life is good and can be easily topped off with a power bank if needed. A very small unit which makes it easy to mount as a wearable gimbal. Also the fact that it can hold many different cameras is great because I can switch between my Hero 5 Black and My Hero 5 session very easily. I also like that I have the option to connect it to my iphone via bluetooth...this allows me to move and control the gimbal for some nice fluid shots :)

It's not as submersible as I originally hoped but still a nice gimbal.
Worked as expected overall. It's not as submersible as I originally hoped but still a nice gimbal.

Overpriced-died 4 months later
This device was a complete waste of my money. When I reviewed my GoPro video, there was a very noticeable humming noise coming from the device. No matter what settings I put it on the noise never went away. Now, 4 months later, when I tried to charge it after a couple of months of not using it and being put away, the device went nuts and rotated around super fast until the charge died (which was fast). Tried to cycle the power but when I recharged it a second time it just turns on for about 2 seconds and then dies. Tried to contact the seller but their storefront only refers me to the manufacturer which is in China.

Not for motorcycle!
I bought this gimbal to mount on my motorcycle. The build quality and the functionality is just too good. I wish it had more battery life or removable battery so that you can carry two sets for longer use. The mechanism is too feable to be used on motorcycle at 70MPH and above. I won’t maintain its position. I’d still keep using it for other situations. It’s prgrammed panning function is what I like the most.

Only sort of Waterproof and an unintended mode.
Edit: I'm changing the review to 2 star. The unit has died due to water infiltration after 3 uses. Only splashed.--------While this is a nice compact little unit, it does suffer from some flaws. It is not super waterproof. I didn't really expect something with so many moving parts to have great seals around the pivot joints, and I was not shocked when it got confused after getting wet. Also, its "locked" mode is more of an "slow rotation" mode. The instructions suggest a 3-minute fresh water soak after using in saltwater. I imagine salt residue may eventually gum up the works, so they recommend placing the gimbal in fresh water to clean it off. After I soaked it, the unit would not work. I let it dry out and now it is OK. Hopefully saltwater did not enter the electronics. While it is currently working, failure after doing recommended maintenance is not a good sign. The "locked" mode is suppose to keep the camera facing in the same direction instead of tracking straight ahead. Press the button once and it is supposed to toggle to the locked mode. Instead it ends up in a slowly rotating locked mode. The camera will start pointing where it set it and track in that direction regardless of base orientation, but then it slowly drifts off, and keeps on going. It will continue to rotate at the same rate indefinitely. This slow rotation is actually a useful mode, but the intended "locked" mode would also be useful, and since the parameters of the slow rotation can not be controlled, it isn't as useful as it could be.

Great for mountain biking! Takes bumps like a champ!
The media could not be loaded. So far, I am extremely happy with my Feiyu WG2. I've taken it out on a few mountain bike rides mounted to a standard GoPro Chesty harness and it has performed far beyond my expectations. It keeps up very well when flowing down fast trails and keeps a steady angle while speeding over bumps - I can't believe it! I didn't think it could get any better than having a camera with image stabilization, but I was so wrong. The motors are not brushless, so expect to hear some clicks in your videos... though as a mountain biker, my videos are always full of clicks from various components!I shot this video with an off-brand action cam and my WG2, on a local trail that has been very poorly maintained. You can see how bumpy it is from how much the bike and my arms are flying around, but the camera angle stays steady almost all of the time. The unit is easy to use and integrate with any GoPro/action cam kit you may already have. If you're even considering buying one, DO IT! Then share the videos of your adventures for us all to enjoy.

Great results for the price!!
Does exactly what it says it does.Feels robust and well made.Only issue I need to resolve is motor noise with gopro. Working on that.

Superb smooth video on a bouncy trail.
Took this on a MTB ride the first day on a very bumpy, rocky trail. Even with my chest harness quite loose, it performed remarkably well with great stabilization. The feature that is most useful is the manual reset feature that allows you to direct the precise angle you want the camera set at with just a 1/2 sec hold. Heavier than I expected but if you tighten your chest harness up well, stays quite stable. Came with two screw mounts but I found the circular one fit better on the chest harness and could tighten up all the way.
