Great tags for annual trophies with cheap laser engraver.
Used these to make trophy name plates with a laser engraver. Worked very well with low power engraver at the right settings (I did have to make some adjustments to the laser). Once I had the laser dialed in - the lettering was very readable and looked great on my trophy. These were a great value for making multi-year trophies.

Better quality than I expected. They engrave up really nice ( I have machines from 2-40 watt ) these worked on all of them.

Works great for my laser engraver
These work great with my Genmitsu laser engraver. With no further processing, the laser produces tags that have clean and durable markings that hold up well. The anodizing has yet to show much signs of wear after several months on my keychain. I have also further processed them using an electrochemical etching process in just a few minutes the etching process produces a depth enough to satisfy a certain 3 letter agency for markings. The purple anodizing matches the many anodized parts I have owned and seen over the years and really pops on the items I am attaching to vs plain black. For an additional touch I also treated the etchings with Birchwood Aluminum Black and the text turns out very nice. The anodizing does crackle after being heated. I have seen crackling when attempting to melt the tags into a 3D printed model as well as when annealing in an oven that reaches 110c. Overall very happy with the tags and plan to continue to use them for etching, and may produce some gifts for friends and family.

Great, but not for shoelaces.
Only giving these four stars because shoelaces don't fit through them and that was my main reason for buying them. They engrave wonderfully with my xtool. Would work great for jewelry purposes. They are fairly strong, yet you can bend them if needed to make them curved. I would buy more if the holes were bigger.
