nippon kodo Kayuragi - Aloeswood 12 Cones, Japanese Quality Incense

The smell of these is soooo good. They are on the smaller side but honestly they are so well made that it makes it worth it for me. I only wish they'd have bigger packs to buy. Probably the best smelling incense cones I've ever came across. And for that alone, I think its worth it to buy.

Wonderful packaging, and high quality. Comes in a wooden box, with the cones wrapped in crêpe paper. Though smaller than normal incense cones, the strength of the sent more than makes up for it. Also comes with a neat little metal base (I think it's actually a tiny flower frog?) that allows the air to circulate under the cone, completely burning all of it. Highly recommend for yourself, or as a gift.

Smells like bad perfume—do yourself a favor and avoid.

I like the smell. It helped me calm while I was praying. The price is little higher.

Very pleasant scent. The cones are a bit smaller than I was expecting, but the scent lingers for a considerable time after, and it burns quite clean. It's quite potent, and fills the room easily.

The product is wonderful. It was used during Japanese burial ceremony, like a wake, for the required amount of mourning and remembrance. Affordable, wonderful natural scent, and classic.

Nippon Kodo is a step above entry level incense. If you want quality, this is it. Aloeswood is my favorite of this line. Sandalwood is also very good. I would recommend sticks over cones. Cones did not disperse as well as the stick of the same scent.

I want to rate higher because they smell amazing but they are small and expensive. But the quality is worth it

It costs 2 dollars per cone but it will last only ten minutes. Terrible product.

So, I was prepared to pay top dollar to get something good and someone wrote that Japanese incense is the best, so I bought these. They are really tiny and hardly smell. Back to the drawing board.
