Very Sturdy
I recently purchased the Hunsaker Iron-Locker Golf Travel case. Previously, I had bought a hard case from another vendor that was wrecked after one flight - the zipper was torn apart and outside latches were shattered. I thought I would provide a review of the Hunsaker product now that I have used it.What I really liked about it:(1) The plastic is very heavy duty, noticeably more so than the other hard cases from other vendors I examined in a store.(2) The locking mechanisms are metal, very sturdy, and protected by surrounding raised plastic that creates a protective recess. If you drop this case on concrete, aiming for the lock, it will survive, unlike a plastic clasp on the first hard golf travel case I bought (from another vendor – see above).(3) The wheels are secured by bolts, not rivets. If for some reason you need to replace them, it should be simple.(4) The case has a lifetime warranty.(5) It fits in the backseat of a medium sedan, despite being about 52.25 inches long.(6) Someone clearly paid attention to designing this product to be sturdy.(7) It is made in the USA, the company clearly takes pride in its products, and when I had questions, I received email responses much faster than I expected.(8) We tend to fly Delta, which strongly encourages hard cases. It survived the flight with only scuffs. What you should be aware of:(1) Michelle O. is right - it is heavy. When I put my clubs in it, it was 46 lbs. The download at the handle when I was rolling it was about 20 lbs (15 lbs minimum). 20 lbs is not that heavy for a walk of 50 ft, but if walk 100+ yds, your shoulder will be talking to you. Airports are inherently big places. While I am 60+, I wrestled in college, I still lift weights and don’t think of myself as particularly weak. Next time I fly with this, I think I might try to rig some kind of strap to loop through the handle that I can put over my shoulder. The strap on the golf bag might work. I do not regard this as a showstopper, but something to be aware of.(2) The 2 piece construction requires sliding the top portion down into the bottom while not getting hung up on the bag. This requires a little forethought and practice. You need to make sure that not only you (the careful owner) can do it, but that a TSA agent that is in a hurry can do it without having to force the issue. Plan on your case being opened by TSA.

Great travel case
This case is way better than any other soft or hard case I have owned. It takes a beating and protects the clubs.

Difficult to handle if you are short like me.
I have used the case twice. My clubs were not damaged at all as the case is very hard plastic. My biggest issue is the size and material. I am 5’2”, and have found the case to be difficult to maneuver around the airport. I have small hands, and the handle grips hurt my hands really bad. I would recommend selling some sort of handle neoprene sleeves to help with the hard ragged edges inside the handle area. The case holds a full set of ladies clubs without any issue. I was able to store shoes, rain gear and a few dozen balls. The latches held up to the airlines handling however the latches are difficult to clasp due to the nature of the plastic case. It gives to pressure, so you need to push quite firmly to get the latch to catch. Finally, the case with less than a full set of clubs comes close to 50 pounds. The case alone is quite heavy when empty.

Great Case if you need a solid Secure option!
Great case, I also have a soft case but was concerned when AA said if damage occurred you had to have a hard case for coverage. The clubs fit tight which is a good thing but the case and clubs with a dozen balls, all clubs, laser and shoes weighs 47 pounds. Probably 8 more pounds than a soft case.
