Not bad...
I can see why they were reduced in price, the flavor profile is pretty intense as the ginger is strong. Eating one too many results in a necessary trip to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The quality was excellent, just the digestive part was tough.

New recipe = sugar for first ingredient
We had a subscription to Enjoy Life gingerbread cookies because my son liked them so much. When the last batch arrived, however, we discovered that there was a new recipe to go with the new style of box. The nutrition facts list the same measurement of sugars in the same serving size of cookies as in the old recipe, but cane sugar has moved up the ingredient list and, I think, flattened the flavor profile. Here's the old list:sorghum flour, brown pure cane sugar, expeller-pressed vegetable oil, juice concentrate, date paste, molasses, unsweetened applesauce, natural rice dextrin, ground ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, xanthan gum, salt, vanilla, ground nutmeg, rosemary extractAnd here's the new:brown pure cane sugar, juice concentrate, expeller pressed [sic] vegetable oil, light buckwheat flour, date paste, millet flour, molasses, crystallized ginger, natural rice dextrin, ground ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, xanthan gum, salt, vanilla, ground nutmeg, rosemary extractI'm glad the cookies are free of GMOs and allergens, but I didn't realize how many sweeteners were present even in the earlier recipe. Sources of sugar are not exactly lacking in the present American market and culture, and while I realize that cookies are a dessert, I’m bummed out that the sugar content is as high as it is.My son thinks that the cookies taste sweeter than the old ones, but not as tasty; he liked only the first bite. He picked at the first box and doesn’t seem inclined to finish off the case.On the plus side, my son's friend who is allergic to dairy and eggs can eat these cookies, so it might be useful to have a box on hand. For us, though, I'm pretty disappointed.

Tasty Little cookies
Tasty cookies with good flavor. The only criticism I have is with the packaging because it doesn't work. There are individual slots for each cookie and few stay in place. For using a plastic tray to hold them in place is a waste of plastic.

Great price on a great product
My son (age 5) has food allergies (wheat, soy, dairy, peanut). So he knows when he sees "Enjoy Life" on the package, he can actually have it! And it's great for him to have options w/ different flavor cookies. It makes it easier for me when I have to pack his lunch for school to give him something different each day. The only thing I would love to have on the subscribe and save program is the ability to mix and match products. But the product itself is great. My son says they have a little bit of a bite to them, but that is how ginger cookies are. He compares these to the Pamela's ginger snaps. He likes both. But sometimes he likes to have the "soft" ginger cookies...which is the Enjoy Life type.
