I keep reading that porcelain shouldn't be sealed. Will this really make a very dull tile look shiny for a long time?

The glaze guard transformed our dull (almost sandy/dusty looking) porcelain tile to a satin shine which looks so much cleaner and enhanced. We have had the sealer on our new house flooring since August 2016 and 10 months later it looks like the day we put it on. I highly recommend this product. Gave the floors the look we were wanting.

How do you combine parts 1 &2 ?

Thanks for contacting CoverTec. To combine parts 1 and 2, pour both parts into a plastic container and mix together with a paint mixing stick for approx 2 minutes.

Can I use over pre sealed shower floor? It’s brand new, but sealed with a water based sealer.

We don't recommend that GlazeGuard is used over an existing sealer. because of inter cot adhesion problems particularly in a shower that is constantly getting wet and dry.
