Wonderful product! I’ve sprayed this directly on mites and they die immediately.

This stuff is fantastic! I had my first chicken mite discovery/freak out today and this saved the day. I had a bottle of something else with really scary warnings all down the label on hand, but decided to give Premo Guard Poultry Spray a shot instead since it made me so nervous how many precautions the other stuff required.I saturated my poor Henrietta at the base of her affected feathers and then kept working my way around until she was completely doused (staying away from her face/eyes) all over. I could see the mites dying on contact. It was disgusting, terrifying, satisfying all at the same time and I ended the night so relieved because seeing is believing - I wasn’t expecting immediate results. I did this in the evening while she was already on her perch as it made it much easier to spin her around and be thorough.I hope she feels so much better tomorrow! I think she was starting to become anemic and I couldn’t figure out what was making her out of sorts and over-preened for a while now.

My chickens had red mites and I sprayed them two or three days in a row and put diatomaceous earth in their coop and dust bath and I believe the problem is resolved. They're no longer scratching and they seem to be in better moods. Smells like cloves isn't poisonous.

My previous flock had aged out, and I needed a new flock. Instead of purchasing chicks this time around, I purchased some 1-year-old hens from the local chicken hatchery. They refresh their flocks every year for maximum production the following spring. I have started calling them my "rescue" chickens, because industrial living conditions were not kind to them. Among other things, they came complete with their own mite infestation. I think due to the stress of moving and general health, they have been more susceptible than my previous flocks. I have had mites once before, but a good dusting with diatomaceous earth was plenty to solve it the last time. Not so with these chickens. So I decided to try this product. We are on day 2 of coop spraying and I just finished my first round of bird spraying tonight. A day after the first day of spraying the coop, there were obviously less mites in places where they had been congregating, and I noticed particularly today that large clusters of mites where the hens roosted the night before literally stopped moving and seemed to die as I sprayed them. I am hoping this gets things under reasonable control, and have also added a large amount of DE to their dust bath for good measure. I have not observed the long-term effectiveness yet, but 4 stars for its ability to seemingly actually kill the mites on contact.

Works well! I purchased the smaller bottle initially but I wanted to continue to treat the coop,run , and yard continuelousely to keep the bugs away. I used this daily for 5 days and the. Switched to 2x per week. I treated my chickens for red mites which I caught very early. I sprayed it on their legs , bottom, and pretty much whole body. I also used DE and Saturday Lime. I don't know if it was just this or all 3 that helped but it worked. I'll keep using these products so it never happens again. I plan to continue to buying this product.

No mites and the amount of flies near my coupe has fell dramatically. The amount of flies have decreased due to my coupe not stinking as much as it used to. Will be buying this product again.

The smell was nice and not full of chemical.I don’t feel that it’s an “instant” relief product for mites (northern red mites are a pain), nor do I feel like it’s as effective as all of these (likely paid) claims. For $35, I did expect it to work better - I likely won’t purchase again.

I found lice on my chickens and turkey’s. Did about 2-3 treatments and i didn’t see anymore lice. I spray some directly under their wings and near their cloaca. I personally didn’t have any issues with the bottle or it leaking. I treated about 15 turkeys and 13 chickens.
