Commentary: I have never installed a ceiling fan before. Measure twice, purchase once. This fan has a lower profile so it fits my home office pretty well. The fan is not too wide so it fits a medium sized room like this one. It would look bad in a bigger room or living room per say. The fan is so quiet and good looking once installed. I would definitely buy another.Packaging: The package and instructions were adequate.Looks: Looks very nice with the chrome finish and the blades being finished in a grainy wood. Very classical looking but not antiquated.Noise: None.Features: Reverse feature is cool.Assembly: Fairly easy to assemble, a few steps I had to re-read but first time installing. The harnesses for the electronics are great. And the pull chains come with attachments that look good and make sense. Good.Installation: 1 person who never installed one... took me 2 hours.BEWARE: Make sure you understand that you will have to find a way to affix this to the structure of the house. The fan is relatively heavy so if you are not sure of installation, make sure you educate yourself enough as to not hang this thing from a plastic fixture. I would never pay a professional to install this, but maybe ask a few people at work or someone who is handy. I wasn't prepared for this so I had to do some research but it's not the end of the world. Just beware.Conclusion: I would purchase this brand again (instructions, packaging, price point, noise level).

Looks great and the fan blades had a light side and a dark side so we could choose which we wanted to show. It is nice an quiet. A little pricy but looks nice.

I have always had good luck with Hunter fans as a professional installer. I just needed an inexpensive dependable quiet vibration free fan for a customer's replacement. This was the perfect fit. It has the wide footprint to cover any old paint variation from an old fan being replaced. It worked out beautifully and installed easily for someone that has installed 1000's of fans.

When this product arrived the class to the light fixture was shattered. No apparent damage to the shipping crate. On the box it said “do not return to store but contact Hunter if you have any issues. It was on the weekend so I sent an email with pictures to explain what had happened. When I hadn’t heard back from them, I got a little concerned so I called Amazon and explained to them what had happened. They said they would credit my account $42 so I could purchase a new one. That was good news and I was a happy camper. Well the next day I Hunter contacted me and said they would send me a new glass. I told them Amazon gave me a credit of $42 and if they could sell me one for that, I would take it. They sent it to me no charge.So needless to say, I am very pleased with both Amazon and Hunter.I love Hunter fans and this one is number 4. We have never had any issues with any of them. Customer service - the best.As a matter of fact the first three went into our remodel. On the crate said: can be installed in 5 minutes. I said to myself, no way. Because I have installed many ceiling fans. Sure enough, 5 minutes or less if you have everything laid out. Just love them. Did I say that before? 5 star all the way.
