3D Pen Filament for XXX start 3D pen, replacement filament refill (6 Color Pack-F)

My daughter got a 3Doodler Start pen for Christmas and quickly used up all of the filament provided in the starter kit. The filament sticks for the 3Doodler Start pen are somewhat expensive and it's tough to find a good variety pack that has multiple good colors in one pack. I took a chance on this product from Xmaha instead, which had no reviews at the time, because it said it worked with the Start version of the 3Doodler pen. I was a little worried because the directions for the 3Doodler state that you should not use any other kind of plastic filament than the "specially made" kind that they supply. However, this plastic filament worked great! In fact, in many ways, it seems superior to the official 3doodler filament. It comes out of the pen looking somewhat translucent, then it dries opaque so it's easy to tell just by looking at it if the extruded plastic is still warm and moldable or if it has set. It also has a smoother look overall when finished that my daughter likes better than the look of the original filament. Overall, definitely a win! I'd recommend this filament pack to anyone with a 3Doodler Start pen. I don't believe it will work with other versions of 3Doodler pens though, just FYI.

Works well with the 3Doodler start. The filament is different from what you get with the pen. This material is a little stretchier and will pull into threads when you stop feeding it. Another plus is that you can double click the button on the pen to back out the filament and switch colors rather than having to use up the entire stick of the branded filament.

It worked. However, it took 2-3 months to arrive. My 9 year old was not happy at all. I am a cheap mother, so instead of buying the official filament, I decided to order this. I should have purchased the official filament to prevent the long wait time. A happy (and active child) during Covid 19 was much more important than money.

Does not work on 3D Doodler Start pen. It destroyed my $40 pen. What a waste. Please stay away from this product as it’s not what’s advertised

Got these as a replacement for my 10 year old. He would go through 48 sticks of the name brand 3Doodler filaments in a weekend. We've had no problems with any of the colors.

Love the glow-in-the-dark. All of the colors are great -- better variety and brighter than the name brand.

Worked great in the 3D Doodler Start. Kids had no problem with it and much cheaper than the name brand! Arrived quickly too.

So this does fit the 3Doodler Start, which is why I bought it. However it’s so thin that it seems to have permanently clogged up the device.
