Has anyone used these on Delta, were they accepted? I saw a review where an airline made the customer put it away but they did not say which one.

I flew Delta overseas from SLC to Detroit to Frankfurt and then from Paris back to SLC. This was in April 2023. I read on Delta’s website that inflatable’s were allowed and indeed they were as I used it and no one had a problem with it. You can even use inflatable foot rests. I would imagine you couldn’t use inflatables in the emergency exit aisle though I don’t know this for sure.

For anyone with the problem of air leaking, have you tried using liquid sealant (e.g. Slime tire sealant) to help reduce the leak?

I wouldn't use it - too toxic for something you inflate with your mouth. If it leaks due to a defect return it for another. We have bought two and had no problems.

Is there a washable cover for the top face part available? Mine does not have a removable cover

No cover comes with this. I returned it as the felt seemed to attract lint.

If you do air this out will the chemical smell go away or does it return after each time stored?

I have not noticed the smell since airing it out after purchase. I've had it packed away and used it on 2 different occasions since and have not noticed the initial offensive smell.
