These are exactly as described and exactly what I hoped for. They are NOT Giftable directly. We need to clean them up first (dust everywhere - items are loose on top of a shredded bed). The dust became air born during opening the shipping package before I even opened the box.OPEN WITH CAUTION:Put something down on the surface you are opening the package on to prevent dust or slivers, shards, etc. from getting on the area you are using.5 stars for these because:The box and the crystals are beautiful.But, only 4 stars to Gift , I would want to dust everything off and individually wrap each wand in tissue so they don't clang into each other.Beware that these are a 'soft' crystal, and will dissolve or discolor in moisture (keep them dry - do not 'wash' them). Instead, take a soft cloth and give them a gentle dusting, and carefully check (or dup out and shake off) the shredded bedding to make sure you are removing broken off shards (there were several small chips and one larger piece broken off from traveling during shipping). Some of the broken material were slivers (this could be a disaster if they get into anything edible or pet food).This is a rather common type of crystal. This price is fair, and what most should be priced at. A lot of other sellers raise the price (dramatically) just to put a piece of tissue between them.That said, these are listed as 'BULK' (so individual wrapping wasn't expected), they are a natural soft crystal (so dust and chips are to be expected), and come in a lovely sturdy box with a bed of shredded light weight cardstock (mine came with shredded corrugated brown cardstock).

It came with a box, i got 8 pcs(3 long and 5 short) Nothing was broken when it came. Just full of selenite dust inside( which is normal) the box was a bit dusty but overall this is legit. Happy with the selenite rods and would recommend it.

These pieces of selenite are just lovely. There is a nice assortment in length and slightly thickness as well. Two are so long – they are bigger than the boxes width. They all arrived in good order which is EXTREMLY surprising as when I retrieved my package from the stoop – it sounded like something broken was inside as there was clinking and clanking and jangling. Upon opening the package and then the box – I saw it was the wands. But they had no wrapping, no stuffing (except for the paper fluff only on the bottom of the box below all the wands). I for sure thought they would be broken – but they were not – amazingly lucky – again, no thanks to the poor packaging. My pic of them in the box is EXACTLY what they looked like when I lifted the lid.They did leave tiny little slivers on my kitty’s blanket on the couch, though – and the box was super dusty from selenite remnants I am sure as they got knocked around. I guess selenite must be hardy – or I was just VERY lucky.The price is great for what you get – would have been 10 stars if not for the poor packaging. I got 8 lovely wands. Then it’s best to open the box before doing so, so you can wipe off the dusty, powdery white residue. This is probably from them rubbing against each other throughout transit, because Selenite isn’t a particularly hard crystal.All the crystals were intact, no broken ones, or no shards or flakes had come off though, and you get a lovely juicy big box of crystals. And they are so pretty. I’ve wiped mine off with a wet paper towel, it removed the residue just fine.I love crystals, though i’m not a practitioner of any kind of woo woo stuff in any way, i just think they’re super pretty. I don’t disbelieve any of the claims regarding crystals, but i don’t charge them up under the moon and stuff. (I got my friend a Selenite Crystal, it required some processes to be done to it, to “cleanse and recharge it” such as placing under the sun, moon, or in a bowl of salt.)Selenite was named by J.G. Wallerius upon it’s discovery in 1747, he named it after the Greek moon Goddess Selene, and the colour of the crystal is very fitting, and evocative of moonlight. It’s supposed to clear out stagnant and heavy energy, and promote the new and joyous energy flow.I have a fossil bowl, and i plan to display mine in that. I have my Mother coming for a visit imminently, she can be somewhat negative, so I’ll definitely put my fossil bowl of selenite in her bedroom while she’s here, and in which case I probably SHOULD cleanse and recharge these crystals, so they can be operating at peak efficiency.And the price is stupendous for a box full of crystals. I recommend this 100% as a great Gift, or just a nice little treat for yourself.
