Really nice thead good waxing and strong for leather sew

Thin but strong, used to secure fabric ribbon tassel top. Seemed to work fine. Good color selection for fall, and some good for other seasons too.

Perfect for my project and in the right colors.

I have used this thread for a handful of leather projects. Overall, the thread seems durable and has worked fine in terms of function. My one complaint is the wax coating does not last. It’s just a cheap, flakey finish put on the thread, as only 5-10 stitches in the thread becomes uncoated. I solved this by applying my own beeswax on the thread before using, but still, this is not a durable wax. Also, after the wax has worn off, the color slightly changes on the thread, making it a lighter color as you progress with your piece. I love this wax thread so much that I ordered the other set too. It’s a good thread, well waxed and beautiful colors. I am teaching a group of family members and I need good reliable materials, so this is one of my favorite thread for jewelry making, leather work and home repairs. It’s a little bit pricey, but everything is pricey now a days.

Love the colors. Very easy to sew with. Holds great! Perfect thickness. Just waxy enough. Really a pleasure in every aspect. Helps me to get full enjoyment from my projects.

Colores adecuados aunque me esperaba las bobinas un poco más grandes. El grosor NO ES DE 1MM. Cómo mucho de 0'8, quizás hasta de 0'5. Si solo los usas juntos, no hay problema pero al mezclarlos con otros hilos de 1 mm se nota bastante.

Love this stuff . Nice mix of colours . Able to pull it , really tight . Great to work with . The cardboard tube sits nicely in a hole in my workbench . Plus the plastic wrap on each reel , works well for putting over cord left on the reel to help stop it unraveling .

Purchased for my dad who was looking for "old school" thick thread - specifically, sail maker's thread, which is usually quite thick, waxed cotton. But it's not always easy to find, and it's rather expensive when you do find it. And since he wasn't actually going to be making any sails, I thought for the very reasonable price we'd give it a try. He's thrilled with it, works perfectly for his needs.

This is a true leather thread in a beautiful array of neutral colours in long-length bobbins. I bought them thinking that it would be more like a cord or thicker, so, in that regard, they were a bit disappointing; however, I'm the only one to blame as I should have read the description in full before purchasing. Yet, I've fallen in love with these bobbins and material. I use the thread as cord for my art tags or as texture elements in my mixed media works. The colours in the photo match the colours in real life. I haven't sewn with them, so I cannot comment on that.
