Firestik quality, easy to tune and durable. This replaced another Firestik antenna that has been in service for 6 years. It's seen it's fair share of abuse, everything from low tree branches at moderate speed to scorching sun to below zero winters. The outer sheathing has finally started to crack and peal, so it's time to replace it. The Firestik antenna is simple to tune and durable.

Great antenna. Everything I’d expect from fire stick. Working flawless years after purchase. This lives on my trail Jeep and has been whipped, stabbed, beaten, slapped, and drowned along the way in these past few years and still tunes up just as great as the day I bought it (1.2-1.5 SWR across all 40). Seriously, I did not expect it to survive this long. It’s almost comical the amount of abuse this antenna will take sitting on top of a 4” spring. Your mileage may vary, but I’m a believer. Firestik is a Top Notch Antenna; I have used them on other vehicles and the quality is built in. I use this with the Firestik 18' Eyelet Cable; I ordered the generic 9' but the end for the antenna will not fit in the space I had to work with. Highly Recommend this Brand Antenna.

I did have to turn the top screw almost all the way out to get my unit tuned, but it is running perfectly. I do wish the little rubber cap that covers the tuning screw was a bit longer (I had to wrap tape around mine at the bottom to hold it on due to not much left to grip with because of the screw up so high). Other than that, it is awesome!

My first fiberglass antenna was a cheap one from Radio shack and worked OK. The outside plastic cover on that unit didn't last long though in the AZ sun and my uncle gave me one of his old firestiks and it has held up great. When I installed a CB radio in my dads truck I was sure to by the firestik brand and was not disappointed and as a bonus it had a tuneable tip and it is much easier than cutting the wire when tuning your CB. It's the only fiberglass antenna I will buy from now on.- Andy

This was purchased as a replacement antenna for my truck. Works better than last one. Very easy to tune to my radio with SWA around 1.2 on channel 19. Very sturdy well made product, added bonus, it is made in USA!

Best firestick at a reasonable length, it is flexible durable and holds up strong and at 900 watts they put out good power especially in a dual antenna set up

2 months later and the plastic casing has started cracking
