"Stone Beach" is located on Mt Desert in Maine and is made up almost entirely of these rounded multicolored stones, and many pieces of sinuous driftwood. After the photo is mounted on the panel, I very lightly sand the side of the panel, creating a soft pearlescent patina and unifying the photo with the panel.
