Great little speaker for your toolbox
Bought this for my son who’s a mechanic. He keeps it in his toolbox in the garage and pulls it out every time he’s working on a car. Sound is great, battery lasts a long time and it’s a tough little speaker. It gets dropped and kicked around a lot in the garage and it’s a trooper. We liked it so much that we bought a second one.UPDATE: We’ve used these speakers for a few years now and they’re still going strong. We are so happy with them that we recently bought a third one for one of our other kids who also spends a lot of time in the garage. My oldest son said all his friend’s “garage speakers” don’t even compare and they’re bigger, bulkier and more expensive. These little guys never disappoint!

Sounds horrible -muffled and buzzy
Not sure if I just got a defective one but if the volume is turned up to 50% or higher it sounds so muffled like you shoved it under a pillow. It also buzzes with any level of bass. I've had cheaper speakers sound 100x better than this. I got this to replace a rugged waterproof speaker I found on a clearance rack. I've had that thing for so long but I lost it and now I'm having a real hard time trying to find anything as remotely nice as that was. Returning this for something much better. Guess that's what I get for trying to spend under $100 for a speaker. I just really hope this one is actually defective and not how it's supposed to sound because it's quite terrible sounding. Otherwise the size is small and seems great for personal use like biking, fishing, hiking etc. Can't account for any of the other claims since I couldn't bare more than a few minutes of this thing. I tried a few different songs of different genres and tried changing the sound settings too which only helped a tiny bit. Not enough to make this sound acceptable. Price point is too high if this is the expected quality. And with nearly everything these days using a type C usb they still went with the old micro usb which is cutting cost, quality and durability.

so far, so good
The good: relatively small factor, long battery life, relativelyl low costThe bad: don't like the handlebar mounting solution, goofy comical menu voice heard in reviews (more on that), mini USB charging portFirstly, the comical menu voice has been replaced with a normal sound female voice. The mini USB port is a minor issue - not a big deal for me. For the handlebar mounting I opted to get this instead, and it's 100% better because the speaker comes with a metal mounting hole installed: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D142YW5JThe sound/fidelity is ok for such a small speaker. Really no bass - not a bass hound, but otherwise sounds fine. Pairing was very easy.

Perfect for the job
This is replacing a 7 year old Buckshot that had seen over 15,000 miles on my bike thru all kinds of weather. Have only used the new 1 twice but sounds great for what it is. Does the sound match that if a high end stereo system - NO but never expected it would .It’s perfect on my hours long bike rides, load enough to hear but not so loud that it drowns out upcoming traffic. I hope it lasts as long as my last one.

These are great
Seeing a lot of bad reviews. Don’t listen to them. These are rad. I work in a vineyard in Arizona and mine lasted so long. Plus so small and perfect for on pocket or belt. After a while the speaker had a bit of a vibration sound but only full blast. Also I used it in extreme conditions. Battery life is great too. The only reason I bought another one is because I lost mine. Some lucky sole found it.

Perfect for road cycling - I should have bought this sooner.
I took this on a 60-mile bike ride today to break it in and was very pleased with its performance. I paired it with a pretty cheap mp3 player that I also purchased specifically for the bike ride: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B075MYPDZL/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_24I had no problems mounting it to the handlebar using the supplied strap. It seemed secure enough for my road riding. The battery lasted the duration of the ride, I couldn't have asked for more. The volume was loud enough for me to hear it, and hear traffic around me; it was the perfect balance.

Awesome
Camping. My phone can stay secure in the trailer while we enjoy our favourite music, podcast or audiobook at the campfire or picnic table. Get the red one. It’s easier to find.

Good concept but unfortunately poor execution and quality.
I was really hyped when I found this little speaker and had high hopes for it. At first it seemed a bit quirky but functional, but it didn't take long before it just stopped working. The idea of a rugged portable speaker for outdoor use is really cool. I wanted to use this on my bicycle for especially long rides to break up the monotony. The Buckshot 2.0 seemed designed pretty much exactly for that at first.Unfortunately there are a bunch of problems with it, both in quality, design and usability.* It has a built-in weird quirky voice that tells you in a rather comical way when it is turned on/off, when connected and when volume is maxed out. It doesn't really affect usability, but after the first few giggles it gets pretty annoying.* The texture on the speaker body makes it really difficult to feel your way to where the buttons are without looking and even harder to know if you've found the correct button or not. You can basically not operate this speaker at all without proper lighting and looking at it. This might not affect you, but for me it was a pretty serious drawback, using it on my bike on night rides...* The mounting options look good in the pictures but are pretty fiddly and cumbersome to use in practice. The plastic "clip" is made from a super hard plastic that doesn't flex anything at all, so you can't actually clip it onto anything without a serious effort. The elastic strap that you get with it is pretty thin and needs to be stretched almost to the brekaing point to keep the speaker in place. All these things I can deal with. But the fatal flaw is the battery. It didn't take long for mine to die. It just won't charge anymore after a few months of not using it. I suspect that there is some small trickle of power drain even when turned off and that there is nothing that protects the battery to become drained to the point where it can no longer hold a charge. Once it gets into this state the speaker is completely unusable. It cannot even be directly powered over USB.If you choose to buy this speaker you should make sure that it can never fully discharge! Neither through use or disuse!I now use a Tribit StormBox Micro instead.

Small with a big sound
Love this little speaker, I attach it to my bike and have ridden throughout the winter, it works great. Sound is deep and clear and louder enough for most areas. Definitely would recommend.

Buen sonido
Lo utilizo para la bicicleta y tenía mis dudas, pero con el bluetooth se escucha perfectamente, y además recibir llamadas sin tener que buscar elteléfono.. Para mi muy útil
