Went on well, looks good, comfy and not hot. It was bought as mattress protector for a student hovel! More to protect the student from whatever was on the mattress tbh, and to prevent them getting fined at the end of tenancy for damaging the mattress.

Got a new mattress which cost a pretty penny and want to keep it in as good condition as possible. I hate crunchy noisy mattress protectors but this one is not! No noise with any movement in bed and fits the depth of mattress. Feels comfortable and I can attest that it is definitely waterproof after spilling my morning coffee it offered full protection. It also keeps the bed cool at night. It does seem to cause the fitted sheet on top of it to slide a little at night. Have had it two months now and washes well. Planning on buying a second to replace the other one I bought which isn’t up to the job.

Iv brought a few of these, an absolute must for kids beds. Protects their mattresses, easy to put on, no paper noise when underneath fitted sheet, dont notice its on. Very comfy and soft, good quality and simply pop in washing machine when need. (Must air dry).Rate 10/10.

The product itself seems fine on first inspection, it’s soft to touch etc, but it’s not a great fit on a super king bed, where it’s already hard to put on a large and heavy mattress by a single person and then smooth out so it doesn’t wrinkle under fitted sheets. It fits okay across the width of the bed but not from head to toe - there’s not enough material to go under the mattress and allow it to fit properly. There were (and continue to be each time) a few swear words used in the process of trying to get it to fit. It also requires constant refitting on the mattress after use as it wrinkles and bunches up during usage because it doesn’t fit properly from head to toe. Really irritating to be honest as it means stripping off fitted sheets to reposition this protector before then adding the fitted sheets again and then throwing on a duvet. On a very large bed you don’t need this daily hassle. You can’t just pull everything tight and smooth out the under duvet layers because you have to lift the mattress (and in my case a super king size one) and pull this protector back in place first. It’s a shame because it’s actually comfy when you lie on it. So I’d recommend for smaller beds, unless of course the head to toe material is insufficient too, in which case, you’ll have the same problem of having to constantly strip the bed to refit the protector cover after each sleep on it usage.If the manufacturer addresses the head to toe more material needed problem, it would be great.And all this is said, without knowing if it actually works in protecting an actual mattress from menstrual or urine “accidents” - not got to that point. I only hope so after all the extra hassle it is causing every day when trying to remake the bed after sleeping.
