I purchased my first light last year as a gift for a friend that use it for underwater fishing (Crab and Lobster) between 10 to 25 meters. Well It has survive a year so I decide to buy another one for me. Now this is very important to keep in mind: Maintenance is everything ( He oiled the O rings and seal tight); Light does not overheat as long as is underwater so if you are planning other use it will heat up; He use it during day to look in caves underwater or at night. those are some pros that I hope can help. Now Cons. Charge last around 1 hour 1/2. To fix this get another battery or buy a more powerful one. Color has fade maybe due to salt water. So that's it. i will update for the new one later since I have not use it yet. Oh one more thing this one was cheaper than the first one a year ago.

Heavy, substantial feel to this flashlight. Stayed waterproof for me. I kept a piece of plastic inside to block the battery while I traveled because the ring to turn the light on spins very easily and would turn on accidentally. Cost me the same amount to buy as to rent for 5 days on a liveaboard dive boat. I'm glad I bought it. The light was sufficient. Much brighter than my last $25 light but not as bright as the $150 professional models. I didn't need to charge the battery so I can't comment on the charger.

Better than expected. The battery holds it's charge for a decent time, few hours on brightest setting. I dive with buddies who have $300+ flashlights and they compliment this one. Very satisfied.

This light is designed poorly. The ring has no stops. It spins continuously round and round yet the mode markings on the main housing are only marked on one side. Also there are 2 threaded ends for no apparent reason increasing the possible points of failure. Also, the strap broke before I even used it in the water. Its simply glued into the plastic portion of the lanyard. Overall I wasnt satisfied with the on/off mechanisim and returned the light to Amazon. I then purchased the Volador flash light with a click button on the tail cap. Its far superior in quality and gives a tighter more focused light beam. Im very happy with the Volador light.

This light has performed beyond my expectations. I expected to only last a few dives but it's been great up until my last dive with it were the light head got some condensation in it. Took it Part and it dried out within a week. Still works great. The power ring can get frustrating sometimes while diving trying to power it off and find the right setting.The light has a spot like beam. But in all I'm happy with my decision. Very bright light too. I would not hesitate to buy buy it again.

Battery is crap and does not hold a charge. The battery charger is also crap. The charger is poorly designed and poorly constructed. The battery does not fit in the charger very well. You have to fiddle with it to get the battery to stay on the charge points. Do not buy this junk!!!!!

Dove to 40m (~120 ft) and worked great. It cycles through all the modes starting with flashing first. Kinda annoying but otherwise works great.

I lobster dive in SoCal and dive to a max about 15 feet deep. Its wicked bright, multiple modes and perfectly waterproof. Battery lasts several hours in the water. For the price, it's amazing and I'll have this thing for years. Great purchase.
