As good as any combo around
Great rod. The rod is on the rigid and stiff side like a Berkeley but a lot nicer like a St Croix., not at all like an over flexing Ugly Stick. The real is very comfortable and comparable to a Shimano. You won’t regret getting one.. I’m targeting panfish, largemouth , smallmouth, sauger...

Solid rod reel combo
Terrific reel, solid rod. I got the medium light rod, stiff but still sensitive.I am considering getting an ultra light in the same combo.

Came Broken and had to return
The fishing pole I ordered for my father was delivered in a broken, smashed box. The pole inside was also broken. I was really hoping that I could just return and have a new one shipped to me, but the only option i was given was to return. Now the price has increased another forty dollars so I won't be able to get my father another one because of the price increase. What a bummer, guess I'll have to go purchase another one elsewhere once my return goes through.

7ft medium lite
I use the 7ft medium light for weedless bass fishing with 10lb mono. I can cast a Berkley worm with a 4/0 worm hook further then I ever have. Heres a 4.7lb bass that reeled in. Great packaging. Ultra responsive rod, reel is phenomenal, highly recommend!!!

Great balance between the rod and reel and it looks slick
First night using my new combo and I reeled in a 5lb carp with ease. Love the color scheme and the balance of weight between the reel and rod. Very happy with this purchase and will probably pick up more pflueger president reels.

Weathers well.
Man I’m really liking these reels, nice Rod too. I like that I can leave these on my back porch and not worry about it rusting or deteriorating. Just a lil green corrosion on the butt of the reel after a year. Fantastic bang for the buck.

Lake, pond, river, this is a great setup.
The action on this reel and rod setup is really smooth. Very comfortable. And super easy to get long casts. 5 stars all the way! Looks good with neon green line

No quality control
Combo arrived looked to be in good condition until I went to use, reel was completely seized did some looking and realized a screw protruding from bottom of reel, the gears jammed on it inside reel. Absolutley no quaility control or this would have never been sent dissapointed after paying $100+

Bonne canne, le seul hic c'est selon la description le moulinet est un 25 et en réalité c'est un 20.
