Great set at a great price! Works to connect my old external CD drive to my new iMac. Small enough to not get in the way with no wires. Works perfectly. So glad I bought them!

Versatile and Convenient, but Could Be Slightly More Durable
The USB C to USB Adapter 3-Pack is incredibly useful for connecting USB devices to my USB-C enabled gadgets like my MacBook Pro, iPad, and Samsung Galaxy. The adapters are compact, work seamlessly with my devices, and the variety of colors (black, grey, and silver) is a nice touch. They provide fast data transfer and work well for everything from flash drives to external hard drives. However, while they function well, the build quality feels a bit lightweight, and I worry they might not be as durable over time with heavy use. Still, for the price, they’re a great value and very handy for everyday use.

Worked for me, but one caveat
Connectivity-wise these had no issues for me. The only downside is the form factor, which may or may not be an issue depending on what device you're connecting to.In my case I needed them on a couple of thunderbolt ports on a 4-port external hub for a Mac Mini. The ports on that are so close together that these are too wide to fit in adjacent ports. If I'd needed them for all 4 ports they wouldn't all fit.Since I needed only 2, I was able to put them between 2 thunderbolt cables that have narrow plugs. So I have cable 1, adapter 1, cable 2, adapter 2.I'm using them to adapt a USB webcam and midi controller keyboard and they work fine for that.

USB C to USB
These work well for things I need to use USB for plugging into my computer. The only complaint I have is on my new MacBook air they are too wide to be able to use both USB C ports on the computer.

These are oversized and can permanently damage laptop or phone USB-C sockets
Pros: well made, good packaging, good value for money - until your device is damaged.Cons: these are oversized and are likely to damage laptop or phone USB-C sockets.I wanted to like these, and I did until I tried to plug one into a USB-C socket on my laptop. It wouldn't go in. Maybe I bought the wrong one? Nope, it's the right one. So I pushed it harder and it suddenly went in with a definite click I could hear and feel. Uh oh, something's not right here. There was absolutely no wiggle. The plug was much too tight in the socket. I pulled it out and that took much more force than normal too.Could it be the laptop's fault? Probably not, since every other USB-C plug I have ever inserted there has felt completely normal. I tried again, on a spare phone... same problem. OK, no more tests, I don't want to break anything valuable. So I tried the other two adapters just to see if they would go in with the usual amount of force and they wouldn't, so I stopped. Same thing with the spare phone, and another laptop. OK, stop, before something really does break.A search of the buyer feedback quickly returned dozens of comments reporting the same problem. OK, that's it, I didn't get a box of duds, and they're going back for refund. So don't fall into the trap of thinking that a tight fit is good, it isn't, it's risky for your expensive phone or laptop. A damaged USB-C socket is bad news, replacing it would require disassembly and the use of a hot air rework station. For almost everyone, that means buy a new laptop because saving your damaged one is cost prohibitive.Take a look at the photos I attached above. To be clear, this USB-C socket was NOT damaged by this adapter, but this is what is likely to happen if you force in a plug or adapter that is larger than the USB-C specification calls for. Once that folded seam has popped open, the socket is useless, and replacing it is very nontrivial. Don't let this happen to your expensive device by using an otherwise very nice $2 adapter that does not conform dimensionally to the official USB-C specifications. The USB-A side of the adapter is a bit tight too, as others have noted, but that does not have the same risk.A note to the manufacturer: Why? The adapter is really nice in every other way, and if you fix this size problem I would definitely buy many more. It's good to have a fit that is not loose, but it seems like you have overcompensated to the point that it places expensive devices at real risk of damaged sockets. Please fix this.
