I've had this for about a month now and feel I can now give it a proper review.When the futon arrived it came very tightly packed in a roll, after it was opened it did take about 2 days to get rid of its packing shape and expand to a usable thickness and softness.The mattress comes with a outer cover, a bag and some straps, I haven't had the need to roll it back up into the bag, as i find it quite easily folds neatly and can be stored in the bottom of my wardrobe or airing cupboard.As for the quality and usability of the futon, it is adequately stuffed enough to give me a good night's sleep and although it is firm, it is not rock solid and is comfortable enough to lounge around on, it is far softer and more comfortable than I thought it would be.The stitching on the futon itself is good and there are no tears. The stitching on the portable bag isn't fantastic but then again I won't be using the bag.The futon is around 10-11cm (3.9-4.3 inches) thick and I find that is thick enough to get a good night's sleep on.I use this as my everyday mattress, it's very light and can be easily moved around and folded up and because of this, allows me to make the best of the space I have.I read a fair few reviews on several futons before settling on this one and I'm glad I chose it, it fits my needs, is comfortable, light and easy to store away.

I used this straight on the hard floor for two nights and it was perfectly adequate for me. It’s not thick, but I couldn’t feel the floor through it. With much use I’d expect it to compress and become less comfortable, but as an occasional need it is perfectly fine for me. The single is a super width for one person (or one person and 2 small dogs in my case!), not too wide but wider than average. It comes with a matching cotton sleeve that goes over the whole thing and zips up, providing a machine-washable base sheet.The massive fail is the carry bag, which is paper thin. I unrolled mine upon delivery and left it out for 24 hours to plump up (it arrives vacuum packed). You roll it up and secure it with two separate straps - all good. The storage back is roomy, with access on one end, draw string closure, easy to put in and take out of - all good. Lifted the case by the handles and it simply tore away at the base of the handle. It hadn’t even been slept on at this point, it was literally the first time of using the carry bag.If the carry bag was of an adequate strength it would be a 5 star from me, but without the carry bag it’s not worth the money charged. You can buy a similar bed without the carry bag for £20-£30 less than this.I have kept the big clear plastic bag that the bed arrived packed in within the box, so I can place the rolled up bed in that, then place the whole lot in the carry bag, which is now fixed and reinforced with Gorilla tape. Otherwise the split exposes the bed to dirt while in transit or storage.

Not as thick as I expected. Almost like sleeping on the floor with an extra thick blanket. If you sleep on your side, you will feel the floor, I toss n turn because I can feel my hips touching the floor and I am only 12 stone. Would say it is not recommended for a heavier individual. I put duvets on top of it to give it extra depth. To be honest, should've just bought a proper mattress, the only good thing is that it is foldable for easy storage.

Have to say I'm very impressed with this product. It come packaged compressed in a box, I opened it up and let it decompress back to it normal size overnight. I used it the following night and I couldn't tell the difference from sleeping on my normal double IKEA bed. If looking for a temporary sleeping solution that is can be stored away easily? We wanted an alternative to a blow up bed for the odd occasion when we need a second double bed. Having slept on futon mattresses in the past and found them very comfortable, I thought I’d go with this one. And in the main the reviews looked positive.On receiving this, immediately the first big negative is the so-called ‘carry bag’. It’s not. Unlike the video, there are no handles and it’s twice the size!I opened the box and rolled out the mattress to test and whilst I can’t yet comment on how it is to sleep on, it feels pretty comfortable to lie on. I then tested how to get it back into its bag (which is nothing more than a huge black sack with a drawstring at one end). As this is a double mattress it’s rather cumbersome and heavy to roll/fold up, secure with the two straps, before then squeezing into the black bag. I managed to do it alone but it could definitely benefit from two people doing this to save time and ease the strain. It’s simply far too big to store anywhere in my house without having to make an awful lot of space for it somewhere. I think our understairs cupboard is the only possible place and it’s still way too large really.I’ll come back and edit my review with further comment once I’ve slept on it or we’ve had feedback from a guest(s) sleeping on it. In the meantime, whilst the mattress itself seems quite good I’m not at all happy about how large it is when it’s folded/rolled as far as it can be as it’s really not easy to store away.I know other reviewers have mentioned how hard it is for people to return as the cardboard box it is delivered in is so small. So I’m also deterred from sending it back as it will be such a faff! I’m not overly impressed and it should be noted the product video is very misleading!

Mattress arrived with storage bag ripped at seams, and item generally appeared to be of questionable quality.Can't recommend, particularly at price paid (£149).Important note, if ordering:The packaging is, I assume, intended to reduce waste and make delivery easier...but, tightly vacuum packing the item makes it Very Difficult to return.The original delivery box is Way Too Small to repack the item, so you'll need to find a very large box to send it back in (also, it is on the margin of the size where Evri, and possibly others, will reject it as being too large to return via their service!).

I’ve been watching this item for a while and was super happy to purchase it during the Black Friday deals! I ordered a queen size and it was so beautiful when I opened it. It was vacuum sealed, so I let it sit open and watched it fill out. It said to put it in the sun to get fluffy, but just so happen we had a couple rainy days. It comes with a mattress covering which fit perfectly and keeps the actual mattress clean! It also comes with 2 straps to use when you roll up the mattress & place it in a duffel bag for storage that is also included. Great quality, beautiful colors, & comfortable!

It came as it appears in the photos. Great for those who like to sleep on the floor. Not too soft. Not too hard. It came with a mattress cover to go over the whole mattress to keep it in good condition. I'm happy with my purchase.

We’ve been using this nice bed for 3 months alternate days for relaxing in living room. We only unfold it every alternate days for a couple of hours and then keep it back folded in the storage. It was a good and soft initially but it’s flattened out now 3 months after purchase.Initially I thought it was value for money but I do not agree anymore.
