I bought these cards hoping for something different, pretty and appropriate. Well, when I got them, I was absolutely thrilled! They really are beautiful. I will definitely be ordering them again, however...I have two things which I would like to see changed:* the envelopes weren't glued, so licking them left me with only wet paper, and* two of the four cards which I received were Black!Now remember, these are supposed to be "happy, light-hearted, full of best wishes" cards. As I said, I will buy them again...but!!...if the next order contains two black cards again, I doubt that I'll be getting anymore and that would be a shame. I really hope the people who make these wil see this and make an effort to NOT make black birthday cards!!! I don't want to stop buying these. They're what I've been looking for for quite some time, and I love them. BUT NO MORE BLACK BIRTHDAY CARDS, okay??? Save black for pet deaths and funerals...Please! Disappointed. Glue residue throughout. Really poor presentation. It looks like a preschooler did the glue work. So bad that I really cannot send them.Update: seller sent replacement cards and the glue marks was significantly fewer. They have a handmade quality which some might find charming. One thing I don't like are the envelopes. Very thin & cheap - similar to copier paper.I added a star for the concerned customer service.

I bought these cards for my three nieces. They all have birthdays around the same date and I always want to find them a similar card. These cards were perfect. I always loved pop-up cards and books as a child as I thought they were slightly magical. The cards were of very good quality and good value. My nieces loved the cards so I would definitely recommend them!
