As a member of a life saving agency in the USA, I pride myself with having emergency rescue equipment as well as other life saving necessities on my boat and in my SUV. I've come across many souls either dehydrated, famished or both. I only carry up to date, freeze dried food items and USCG approved water packets, which I purchased out of pocket. During an Amazon search, I came across Freeze Dried Simple Sensations Peanut Butter Bites and although, there were 6 bags, now there are only 3. I felt it was my duty to taste test prior to adding them to my emergency equipment and normally, I have great willpower but with these Simple Sensations Peanut Butter Bites, they tasted unusually good and I consumed one of the six bags in just under half an hour. The next day, I ate a second bag , ''chalk up another one to the abyss'' ! I was then forced under duress to relinquish a bag to my wife. Hence, only 3 left ! The fact that they're marked as Organic is an added plus. I will purchase more from the same seller & get them into my SUV, ie: ASAP ! (UPDATE REVIEW) Jan/22/2024- In 2 of the 18 bags of freeze dried peanut butter I had purchased, I found several small clusters of non-human hair on the inside, sides and bottom of the bags.

My daughter has a gluten sensitivity and is super picky. She has autism and texture is very important. She LOVES these! Texture of a cracker. Tastes like a peanut butter cookie.

Have made 3rd purchase , granddaughter loves these for snacks

Was not expecting that taste

The texture resembles cereal marshmallows which I like. Lightly salty. I take them on long bike rides or hikes. Lightweight.
