Tasty, organic pasta alternative
Organic, Tasty.Great alternative to wheat based pasta, cooks in the same time, tastes the same.Higher protein count than normal pasta and a great way to get more veg in your diet.

Slightly soapy flavour but not noticeable with sauce
These have a slightly soapy taste and chalky texture compared with normal pasta, but the macros are much more favourable and it is hardly noticeable when cooked into something like a bolognese. I recommend boiling for an extra couple of minutes to get rid of the chalkiness and use slightly more salt in the water than you would with normal pasta to improve the taste (yes that is a lot of salt but makes a huge difference)

Excellent product
As an Italian, I look for quality products. I tend to prefer Italian products when it comes to pasta, even if it's made with lent flour. This is a tasty, natural product. The price is fair. It might be a bit less expensive in mainland Europe but for the UK, it is a good price. Very good texture, not a starchy product, which is good if you're intolerant like me. Healthy and easy to cook, with a good level of proteins.

ok but chewy
Ok but not great, and they don't reheat well. Quite small and chewy texture. If you cook longer they go sludgy. A leaading supermarket sell GF lentil fusilli that they've called 'protein pasta' or something, and its really nice - much better than this one.

Very tasty and great texture
These gluten free pasta twists keep thier texture really well when cooked and taste great. I actually prefer them to wheat pasta. They are slightly more expensive than ordinary pasta but they are more filling and come in an eco-friendly package so represent good value for my health and the environment. My partner noticed a fishy smell and flavour to the second packet I cooked, when I was looking for the smell and flavour I noticed it too. Strange for a vegan product. The carton was not damaged or wet so I am not sure how the smell was produced.

Rubbish!!
Don't buy this, it's dreadful. As soon as it's cooked and you start to move it, it crumbles, literally. You end up with a bowl or pan of bits. HORRIBLE

A Tasty Legume Substitute
Red Lentil Fusilli has been a delightful discovery on my journey to incorporate more legumes into my diet. Even if you're not a legume enthusiast, this pasta is a game-changer.What I love most is its authentic lentil flavor. It captures the essence of lentils and cooks just as effortlessly as regular pasta, with just a slight change in cooking time.My favorite way to enjoy it is cold, paired with fresh cherry tomatoes and fragrant basil, but it's equally satisfying when served hot. It's a versatile choice for all tastes. The only drawback is the price, which is a bit higher compared to traditional pasta or lentils. However, the convenience and taste make it worth the occasional splurge. In a nutshell, this pasta is a delicious and convenient way to add legumes to your diet. Its authentic flavor, ease of preparation, and versatility make it a kitchen essential. Despite the slightly higher price, the benefits it offers to your diet make it a worthwhile investment. If you're looking for a friendly legume option, I highly recommend giving this pasta a try!

TASTY gf pasta, excellent al dente texture...
Red lentil pasta is one of my favourite types of pasta, irrespective of it being gluten free. It’s quite tasty (try a piece before you add sauce!) and arguably nutritionally superior to gf options made with rice and corn because this one contains more fibre and protein (always a plus in my book). No cooking instructions on the box but I added it to already boiling water and then gently simmered for 10 minutes for the perfect al dente texture. The pasta keeps its shape wonderfully, no sign of mush. Just lovely and works well with all my favourite sauces.N o t e s :The pasta comes boxed in plastic-free packaging so once you’ve opened the box, you need to transfer the pasta over to a container (i.e. there’s no resealable bag inside the box).
