I purchased this product after reading about all of the great nutritional health benefits and figured this could be something to add to my regimin for naturally improving my health. I read through many reviews before deciding on this brand. One common remark was the awful, bitter taste. I'm used to dealing with Bitters, so I new this probably wouldn't hinder me. IT'S NOT THAT BITTER. I suspect many people are using way more than the serving size 1/3 tsp. I mixed this with Moringa Powder and lemon as a tea with no sweetener and it was not bitter at all.

Absolutely love using this herb it's downright earthy bitter taste yet hint of sweetness makes it perfect to add to hot and cold drinks, cereals, and yogurt. The reasons I purchased Amla ( will continue to do so ) are immune booster, effectiveness, texture, head colds, and lastly the smell. I can not make claims on its ability for hair growth because have not used it as such. Overall, Amla is my go to cannot go without !

It's definitely purely but I.like sour, drink a glass on the morning on an empty stomach and not really hungry helps me wuth my fasting as well.

I bought this for all the antioxidants and potential to lower cholesterol. I wasn't sure what to expect flavorwise, but was pleasantly surprised that it didn't taste bitter to me -- taste seems more lemony than anything else. I mix 1/4 tsp with a little warm water, or mix it in with a small serving of beet juice. The tart flavor actually makes the earthy beet juice taste better to me. I find it blends fairly easily with a milk frother. I'm happy with this purchase and brand so far.
