Doesn’t appear to be a cheap knockoff product that Amazon is becoming all too well know for.This product uses proper steel cable, cast aluminium pulleys and real bearings.It’s pricey but will definitely cost you less in the long run. You won’t be fiddling around with stretched cable (washing line) or failed bearings unlike buying a product that ‘looks’ similar in the photos.

Always wanted a washing line that can utilise a the full length of garden and yard. We attached it to our end terrace wall at 1st floor height say 15ft up. And about 25 feet to the back of the garden attached to a post 7ft. The pulleys work smoothly. We had one spacer, personally I think as part of the kit 3 should come with it.We did have another pulley system the spacers bought separately were too big for the line. Buying the kit form is the better option. Highly recommend this for those who can use the height in a sloping garden.

All you need in the package, apart from wall fixings (which depend on your individual scenario). It was up and "running" in about 10 minutes. It's been 3 months now and surviving very well, we'll see how it does over the winter.

Extremely fast delivery. Very very easy to install. But If connecting anchor hooks into brick work ensure you obtain strong large rawplugs. They don’t provide them(only reason I dropped one star). Otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Easy to use but a a bit expensive of £35

Why is it so difficult to buy a strong washingline?I'd like to buy this Strata heavy duty washing line. It's also known as an Amish washing line and is built to last.I bought a retractable double washing line and it broke within a year - so basically they are like a charity, they take your money but don't supply a functioning product. Come on, how hard is it to supply a good washing line?

When I opened the box there were bits missing and the instructions were very vague

I’m glad I bought this, even though the installation instructions are worthless. Fortunately the parts are easy to figure out. There was more than enough heavy duty cord. I had to cut off quite a bit, and the extra cord can be used for other projects. There is a piece included that is not shown in a diagram, or even mentioned in the written instructions, but I finally figured it out. Basically you will have to figure it out. The instructions will not help. The diagram does not show how to use the part that cinches together the two loose ends. Each end goes in one side, facing each other. Both ends are then twisted in a little ratchet device that closes the “loop” and tightens the cord. This is very sturdy, and I’m thrilled with the quality.

très pratique -super ! système très répandu aux USA et Canadajuste qu'il faut prendre 1m de plus car la mise en tension puis fixation du câble n'est pas évidente surtout pour les grandes longueurssur les grandes longueur le charriot à tendance à "dérailler" ( le cable sort de la poulie supérieure "porteuse") et ça coince ! j'ai donc bricolé avec un fil de cuivre un système autour du charriot pour que le cable ne puisse plus sortir de la poulie
